Also missed easy forcefields against Sheth and his army got destroyed. Maybe jetlag but he's really not on his game today.
The observer was bad. The reason he didn't FF straight away was because there was an attack at the nat at the same time. A metric fuckton of winfested terrans were dropped there that he was trying to deal with.
Ah ok i was wondering how in the hell he missed those FF's that explains it

I sort of hoped we'd gotten over it, but I can't help but feel vindicated that the Kespa players are doing pretty well but aren't crushing the scene.
Elephant thing is pretty disproved at this point, best BW players didn't become the best sc2 players and they aren't dominating in the slightest.
They are good players of course, but not many times better than the ESF players or better at all.
Thank Adun there's someone else out there who actually read the article.
Intrigue is lucky the term has changed so much from the original meaning. Now it's just a harmless term, a way to describe Kespa players, but the original elephant argument has been disproven, and in retrospect it looks like ramblings of a Brood War elitist.
If you don't think Leenock, Taeja, MVP, etc. would have become the best BW players had SC2 not come out I don't know what to tell ya buddy. The article was written in 2011 and by 2012 Flash, Jaedong, Bisu, etc. were no longer the best RTS players in the world.
Go reread the article. *shrugs* What you are saying has nothing to do with Intrigue's argument. Of course what you are saying is still wrong, there are no guarantees that someone will get the final spark that lifts their play above everyone else while playing another game, similar as it may be. But anyway, that's not what that article was about, so no clue what you are trying to say.

He lost a single series, but won in the extended. 90% series winrate.
Edit: The parting one might be wrong, think they met twice and Leenock lost one, and won the next in group play in code S.
Cause that's more impressive than a simultaneous OSL gold and 3rd place GSL placement, AND a gold at WCS Asia? Uhh, not even close. What does the fact that Rain drops a bo3 to not just any zerg but a hot Leenock on a 90% win streak in zvp say?
