Could a Protoss player explain Parting's play? I've seen the phoenix response to the early gas (although it's uncommon), but usually the transition is into phoenix/colo (i.e. continue to make more than 4 phoenixes). It just seemed really wonky compared to the usual quick 3 nexus into mass gateway units with storm into colo in the late-mid game that we often see from him on larger maps.

Disappointing game from Parting, not what I expect from him. The Phoenix did a lot, but they needed to do more considering the eco-build Byun went, losing 2 of them was sloppy.

It was a very nice engagement from Byun though. Many terrans make the mistake of fighting with their bio and vikings at the same time, which is always suboptimal. If you have enough vikings, you need to sacrifice them for the colossi without allowing the colossi to take out your marines in their death throes.
