It is very hard to do any damage to zerg early on without going all in. At the same time, you *must* do a lot damage just to be even with zerg but also not make a mistake yourself. Hive tech gives zerg incredible versatility over terran. Mvp scanned both brood and ultra tech on Ohana but it is completely luck based to prepare only for one of those, but if you prepare for both, you wont have enough to deal with zerg desired choice. Then, even if you manage to outproduce them in viking thor army, 1 fungal can still completely turn the battle around. In the end, if terran invested in a lot of thors, vikings and tanks, a massive morph of lings will do great against all those units. Don't know if game is imbalanced but zerg simply seems way more forgiving to me than terran in terms of economy (you are ahead by default if terran doesn't do damage), in terms of tech choice and lastly in term of army control. | ||
