MVP lost the first two games because he had 1 starport against 15 minute brood lords. If he had built 3 more instead of the 30 tanks, he could have had enough vikings to stop life and still had 15 tanks, more than enough to win. In game 7, it wasnt anything that life did, in fact he made several relatively small mistakes. What in the end killed MVP was that he lost half of his army while trying to develop his 4th base. If he just stood at his xel naga tower instead of pushing for life's inoperative 5th he could have held his 4th and he already has the 3 airports to stop life's bl. If he just had the extra mech to hold the roach switch he wins the next few battles and its okay. So even within his self handicap of using only mech, MVP made pretty massive mistakes in all the games he lost. Which all goes back to the fact that its unfortunate his wrists pain hurts him so much, because if he had played marine tank on at least one of the maps he lost he probably would have crushed life, when he started splitting hellions on life, life didnt respond effectively. So imagine what a couple of medivac of stimmed marines would have done. Yes, and Taeja who is probably the best marine tank vZ player in the world lost 3-0 trying to play marine tank. | ||
