At least, that is how I see it. then you absolutely have no idea what a bonjwa is. and - imo of course - a gsl win before the swich of the kespa players doesn't mean that much.

Also the HerO fanboy in me is rather happy that his bunny status in PvP has been thrown off a bit. He's now in that tier of players that can beat anybody, or lose to anybody on their day.

This is incredibly ignorant. Mvp probably would be Bonjwa if it was like the SC1 days where you had the major Starleagues and not much else. There are so many tournaments in SC2 that its impossible to win them all, so someone who could have been Bonjwa in SC1 would be seen as a lower level in SC2 since there are more tournaments.

Congratz to Rain, PartinG and especially HerO who finally advanced further in a big tournament. I'm very disappointed though that Creator didn't get a Seed for the World Finals. :/

It does suck tho that he then dropped two PvP's 2-0.... HerO needs to start playing better when the pressure is turned up to full, and when the stakes are high. At least we know HerO is looking like he's playing the best Starcraft he's ever played right now, because defeating Seed and Parting 2-0 really cements that. But yeah he just needs that extra champion attitude that thrives when its all on the line in the final stages of the tournaments. Something that he's been lacking for a long time now..... its been really apparent in the last few GSL's and at the IPTL finals.... sadly now here its come into play again. One day Liquid'HerO..... one day.

I agree with the bolded quote. However, give credit where credit is due. MVP earned those wins with preparation and hard work. Realistically, It's not his fault that Kespa decided to transition late. However, considering that Kespa players pretty much paved the way for SC2 to be what it is today both mechanically and technically I'd wouldn't say that power-overwhelmings quote is ignorant but it certainly isn't needed. A GSL win is a GSL win regardless of who you play. But the term bonjwa "is" decided by a year or so of pure domination of the highest competition. Although MVP did win against the highest competition on SC2 at that time, he didn't play against the cream of the crop which were in this case the Kespa players. If he can have the success he's had in WOL against the Kespa players in HOTS where everybody has a fresh start then MVP will undoubtedly deserve the title "bonjwa". Until then, he is the "most successful player on WOL".
