If the Toss's micro is good enough, they'll tend to hold off the hellions without too much trouble. If not, the hellions wreak havoc and probe death ensues. I've been liking the recent Hellion openers in TvP because of the reasons you just stated. Hellions are better in the hands of top-tier TvP'ers, but look really weak in the control of rather low-tier ones. Take for example Polt's Hellionshee build, it is fairly easy to execute the build, but the control and positioning of units is something I imagine only top-tier players executing properly.

The more I see the competition in SC2, the skill gap between foreigners and Koreans is being more pronounced, with only maybe 4-5 foreigners able to match Koreans consistently. HOTS is coming, it will be a semi reset. It's too late for WOL, top 16 of the last MLG were 15 Koreans and Naniwa who stays in Korea and was Code S ro8 twice. It's only going to get worse as time goes on.

Plus Leenock has done that before, he did it to Taeja and Taeja did the worlds most perfect scan - picking up both of them in time for him to defend with bunkers/turret.
