However I feel like they could go around exporting/spreading their production around alot better than they are right now.. I've travelled through Germany several times with a few people that has familly down there, and I was really bummed out that the awesome beer you could buy locally at a certain place, you couldn't buy just 50km away from the brewery. I feel like every small region of Germany is very 'protective' of their local brew? As in they only sell the big brands and then the very local stuff at any given place. I might be wrong, that's just the vibe I got
Yeah, that's actually how it is. There's a bunch of heavenly beer brands you can only get in a certain region, while a number of more popular beers is rather average or somewhat insipid.
