Standard LR rules apply: No balance whining, no KeSPA vs. GomTV inciting, no excessive derailing ESPECIALLY when games are on. This is not a thread for you to argue with other people.

Mvp is just a washed up shadow of his former self, with a wrist injury to boot, right? Wrong. Even if Rain had crushed Mvp 20-0 in other tournaments, that doesn't mean a DAMN THING to Mvp right now. The GSL is Mvp's playground. Rain is trying to get a legitimate claim to best in the world, but he can't do that unless he beats Mvp on his home turf. You can talk about Rain's amazing run all you want, but the truth is EVERY SINGLE TIME people count Mvp out, he wins. GSL is Mvp's home turf, where he thrives in this EXACT kind of environment. Throw out your statistics all you want, but they don't mean a damn thing to Mvp. If Mvp wins, Rain is another derailed hype train, just like so many before him. But if Rain wins, he will win this season of GSL and be on the road to immortality. Rain couldn't get the job done. He had all the hype and momentum in the world behind him and he still couldn't beat Mvp. Mvp proves once again that he is the best.

I'm inclined to say it did. Even though his performance has been nothing short of amazing it isn't a royal road. Also I feel that you can't get a royal road when it's the first tournament. A royal road is meant show that someone has insane talent and is an extremely good newcomer; neither of those can be said when it's the first tournament as you have nothing to compare it against.

That is why I expect MVP to win the final :D I don't even really understand that, he crushed Symbol straight up in Ro8 without even using any mindgames afaik. Mvp's decrease in skill is severely overstated I feel. In important matches he can micro better than a lot of good players, and he's still really good mechanically. He's definitely fallen behind a bit due to his shorter practice time, but I don't think it's correct to say he isn't as good at the game as others. If being Mvp is playing the game wrong I don't want to be right. He's probably going to be the only player to make two GSL finals in this entire year.

Well MVP is not exceptional strong mechanically. He wins his games through strategy but even more through decision making. He does not have crazy micro and macro skills like fellow Terrans Taeja, Byun or Marineking, but he knows how to solve problems he's facing much better than anyone else. This will be definately an interesting finals. On one hand we have the incredible gifted Life with the best mechanics we have ever seen from a Zerg player (sry DRG, but this is it!) and on the other hand MVP with his great preparation and decision making. Could make up for a great finals but could be very one sided either way too. Mvp's macro is at least on par with Taeja, Byun and MKP. His positioning is so good that he doesn't have to rely on pure micro.

He's 15 in western age They confuse the hell out of me some time, they are casting to a western audience but use korean age. he's 16 in Korean age, Tastosis were just straight up wrong 16 already? Well, then it's not that impressive. Ok i looked, Life is 15 years old to everyone else but koreans xp Life b-day 01-11-1997

It was a close 3-2 series. Dont be bitter because your player lost horribly.
