I also agree and Mana said the same thing, but players like Life or Moon are quite fun to watch.

Well nothing special is maybe a bit "too much" but it´s true. Nerchio and Stephano are probably the strongest Zs out there. With Stephano beeing better in ZvT and ZvP and Nerchio in ZvZ. And like I said in his Fanclub, he (nerchio) isn´t even a full-time-pro as far as I know. (I might be wrong)
Gratz Nerchio

Aww I missed it all. I'm a bit surprised by the results.. I thought Naniwa would take a game or two, but Nerchio winning easily is no surprise. Naniwa has never impressed me in PvZ despite having a few good results in the matchup here and there.

I thinkt his last "success" was 2-3 vs DRG in the last GSL Season. But tbh DRG is not the guy he was in the beginning of 2012.

Also how are Korean Zergs nothing special? DRG is a monster and has won many MLGs. Life just doesn't lose anymore coming in 2nd at TSL4 and destroying in the GSL and GSTL. Violet and Symbol are consistent high performers at MLGs and the later being a GSL boss as well. Hyun has been on an online rampage winning in countless online cups as well as 7 straight fight club wins.
Just because Zerg is not doing very well in Korea doesn't mean Korean Zergs are not good.

ZvP really is boring. ZvP is in an horrible state. Not talking about Naniwa who were never good in this match up (he was a beast in PvP and PvT), but i have the horrible impression that Protoss got nothing to counter Zerg's ultras.
It's either a passive game the protoss will end up losing or a two bases all-in which is boring to watch.
Man, seriously. F*ck this match up. Lol at Protoss has nothing to counter Ultras. Try every unit Or you can read what i read after and understand that i meant Broodlords. ok then Mommaship, Archons, Stalkers, Voids and Carriers. Your choice. Mothership / Archon : Sure, it is good to call "counter" a unit which is only a counter if your opponent make a mistakes. In the last game, you saw Nerchio built some banelings so he didn't even have to split his broodlords. Stalkers : Lol. No. That's the only decent thing they have, but it's not a counter. Not at all. Carriers : I thought we all agreed that this unit was not worth mentionning EVER. The last time i saw it was in a Seed game. The time before ? One year ago. Void rays : What do you need to make Broodlords ? Corruptor. You know, that unit you have to make against Colossus and Motherships. I'm not even a protoss player, i'm a terran players, and at least, we have some good options against zergs. Protoss have none. Well it is obvious you have no clue what you are talking about, probably because you don't even play ZvP.

Yeah that's a bit of a stretch but Stephano really has the best mastery over lategame zerg, better than the korean zergs (I think better than life, symbol and hyun too). In terms of map awareness, army spread/positioning, infestor control, fungals, broodlord spread, engagements, flanking and knowing when and when not to attack, Stephano is the best. Some zergs can do all those sometimes, but that is in the dna of Stephano's gameplay. He will always prespread his BLs, he will always try to sneak in 2 burrowed infestors so that infested terrans can absorb tank fire, he will always engage with a two or three prong flank.

Respect for NaNiWa for playing the series out. And of course, congratz to Nerchio.

get real. Both Stephano and Nerchio are invited to code S. The gap is not that big, and its too early to say Stephano fixed his ZvZ for good. I agree Stephano has better mechanics and is probbably more consistent. I do enjoy Nerchios play more though. His smart play and metagaming is really fun to watch.

Stephano has won around 5 times what Nerchio did...so the gap is pretty much huge.
And okay i can understand your argument now, you're polish...

Around three times. Also Idra has won about three times as much as Symbol and given the fact, that he is about three times as good as Symbol, money seems to be a pretty legit argument to determine skill. (Source)
No, seriously, Nerchio pretty much only attends european evevnts until now, that is the reason he is so far behind Stephano. Plus the event he got final apperiances ( HSC, IEM) aren´t as top-heavy as the ones, stephano placed well in.

I think there is a gap in skill between them, but it's silly to say it's huge. Take a look at TLPD's win percentage. Stephano has 68% and Nerchio is at 67%
