These are the two teams that are going to advance from the group methinks so should be a great series. FXO probably takes it, but I'll be rooting for Acer! Gogo Scarlett! <3
I see FXO winning, but Acer could surprise us. Depends on whether or not bly, scarlett, and the others can take a game or two. I can see nerchio winning at least 2 matches.

This isn't complexity.
Yea you're right. No Korean for Acer to stop Choya
I just love the fact that Choya is FXO coach. In my mind I always imagine all the players around him, waiting to chose who he will send in teamleagues. And then " Buzz off, I'm sending myself ! "

Bly tried to get in with lings due to proxy hatch at wall in, but Choya blocked it off with hold pos probes+cannon.
Choya then got hidden expo while Bly was trying to catch up, then went 12 gate (I think) and DT, sniping third with DT and going into main with sentry+zealot. Meanwhile taking his 4th (normally 3rd) and just attacked with 2 colossus and gateway units.

Two good players shouldn't be enough against a good Korean team, though. Unless Bly gets some kills as well, Acer should always fall short against the top tier teams.

utterly disgusting that nerchio can lose that game, thebest could not keep up in any form and ends up winning by amove thors I didn't think tvz wins could be undeserved anymore but jesus christ that was not pretty

you do understand how much better thebest is than Nerchio right? Go watch some of his stream vods. He has very good mechanics and mechs every TvZ, beating some of the best Zergs in the world. Nerchio played badly and lost to a superior player.

Mass Thors is so fucking annoying to face. I lost to a diamond player with 20 apm because all he did was build thors and hellions and attacked before I got hive. -_-

I never understand when people see tank/hellion/banshee and still don't get a spire. Stephano did the same against Lucifron at WCS Europe, but if you're going to rely on infestors for anti air against 4 port cloak banshee you better have Stephano's multitask.
Don't want to sound like a hater, but to me, Scarlett's playstyle is so one-dimensional: Infestor/Ling into Brood Lords is basically the only strategy I've seen her do recently, and I have always felt the hype train for her was severely overrated. Sure, she won WCS Canada, but against NA players, not experienced Koreans or Europeans.

Agreed entirely. You see her play in the EG MCS and it's very underwhelming. Losing to Titan and TLO

Oh man.. Did you see those games at least? don't tell me who won, I just want you to know that Titan vs Scarlett was a BO win battle that she almost got through by playing really fucking great. vs TLO was just a horrible performance, a really off performance that doesn't say anything about her current play.

She beat Hero and slivko in the RSL. She is neither winning everything vs non-NA players nor losing. Almost every zerg is using heavy infestor/ling into broods.
Just don't judge much on one game vs fucking Gumiho and let her play some more. I agree that NA only isnt a great base to evaluate a player.

I mean she also beat sLivko and Hero recently, two players better in those respective races. As a big fan I do believe she plays somewhat one-dimensional against terrans though and when she plays Korean terrans it becomes obvious. She needs more experience against high level terran play.

She beat Bumblebeeprime (who's that? don't ask me) at IPTL, and beat some NA players to win WCS (over 100 Koreans could do this and so could dozens of Europeans), and is suddenly hyped to be one of the best foreign Zergs. Her play is frankly underwhelming and I wish people would stop hyping her up so much and just enjoy her games because they are going to find themselves disappointed.
Wow so many votes for Acer, guess its to be expected at this point from foreign fans...
One does not simply beat the defending GSTL champions. Seems like FXO can climb their way into the premier league quite easily as expected, and without using Leenock too (atleast I'm assuming they haven't used him in this yet, dunno). Sad no Choya all-kill today though.

She won WCS NA not just beating but destroying all the best players in NA without losing a map. She played amazing for Acer at the last IPTL. Creator, fucking Creator called her one of the only foreign players that can compete with koreans. The hype is justified at least for now. She needs more experience and I think she can compete with not just the best foreign players but Koreans as well.

Game 3 against Titan though she got absolutely crushed. And honestly, top end pros shouldn't be losing to TLO these days.

Sometimes b teamers are a good idea but not in this case, It's one thing to be confident but another to be arrogant. You must give scarlett/nerchio the respect they deserve, gumiho/leenock are the players we would use in any situation like this
