He went for a really fast third, he absolutely had the economic advantage. Only way he could have died in the early/mid game is by an all-in (and with mass queens the all in HAS to be a marauder all-in.) Therefore the overlord scout would have given definitive proof for either lots of marines ---> standard play or barracks with tech labs ---> all-in. DRG just played it wrong. | ||

He should have built like 10 spines at his naturals while stalling and giving up the 3rd. Instead he made 3 more drones AFTER he saw bunch of marauders. Built spores, and did not start spines right away when he saw the units from polt. I think DRG needs to gain confidence. His play is right now very very timid. He is still one of the best macro player as we saw in game 2, but in GSL mind game is like 50% of the deciding factor. | ||
