I use preferential in quotes because if for instance all players who participate get seeded in order of placement with walk ins and other pre registered players, you could have one of the people who lost in the first round having a higher seed than Ostojiy, Scarlett, and Huk who didn't participate which could make a higher seeded person end up with a "worse" matchup than a lower seeded person in theory. Can someone clarify for me the rewards for the online qualifiers? The winner of the qualifier gets preferential seeding at his/her event choosing and also a paid flight to that city's event.

So only the winner gets seeding, and everyone else who participates gets first dibs on registration at the event, is that how it works? It makes sense that way, but I've never been a fan of winner take all, even in qualifiers I feel 2nd should get SOMETHING more than last.

I didn't say mkengyn hacks, people in the stream believed that pulseBelieve was maphacking. Just sucks that 2nd place gets no prize and so he can't go to any of the offline lans.

Yea, they should have one in Manitoba instead of Ontario. That way 2/3+ of Canada's population ends up in the Montreal event and the other third can go to Manitoba or BC!
