What I dont understand was why did Grubby move out at all, if he scouted double spire muta?

Hopefully both Nerchio and Grubby make it through. Grubby because hes awesome, Nerchio because he, together with Stephano, should have the best chances against the Koreans Protoss army at Shanghai.

that's his job as a caster to hype even when there's nothing to really get excited about

Not really. I never heard a sports commentator go apeshit during a boring game.

lol. no one wants to listen to 2 casters drone on about how the game is over.

Just realized nerchio has 1.7k games in TLPD, wow.

Yep, he has won more games in tournaments than anyone I have seen. I have not checked every player's stats by any means but the prominent ones I've checked have less games than him. Amazing to have such a high win rate over so many games.

Goody has close to 2000 games on TLPD

Amazing. Does Goody play full-time these days?

Yes he does.

given the time goody needs (or needed in the past when he played mech only) to play 1 game that's quite an accomplishment!

I think he expected the mutas to go all the way around and go to the 3rd, so he tryed to cut them off..didnt end well lol.

I wonder why protoss players always take the 4th in the middle on daybreak. Taking it at the top/bottom spot seems kinda better cuz broods won't reach it that easily.. Or am I missing something here?

Smart positioning by Nerchio with his overseers covering the approach paths into his half of the map. As all the forward pylons out on the map had been destroyed, there was no chance for DTs to sneak into his bases undetected except by Warp Prism drop. Nice to see a player anticipating that move and shutting it down.

it's never a good idea to stretch yourself thin as protoss. ever.

It's harder to defend, especially when he went muta/ling style. I mean you need to spread your forces more thin then and also muta/ling move very fast so it's hard to position and defend I think.

Against mutalisk... imagine the surface to cover... Even against ling runby or multi pronged attacked... its better to take the center...its closer to everything

and if you're allowing him to move away from his creep and spinecrawlers, you've probably already lost the game.

Haha, winning WCS Europe would be a life time achievement for some players. Nerchio just would have had a very good week xD
