The time has come for the Contender group matches of the IGN Pro Team League!
Group A Schedule: Acer vs aTn Type - September 13
compLexity vs FXO - September 20
Acer vs FXO - September 27
aTn Type vs compLexity - October 4
FXO vs aTn Type - October 11
Acer vs compLexity - October 18
When: Thursday, Sep 13 11:00pm GMT (GMT+00:00) (we will also rebroadcast repeatedly afterwards!)
Format
Contender Division Group A is made up of four teams: Acer, aTn Type, compLexity, and FXO. Group B contains NSHoSeo, Empire, Karont3, and Dignitas. Both groups will play round robin against each other team in their group. When group stages are over, the top two teams from each Group will play against the bottom two from each Premier Group for a chance to enter that division! The bottom 2 teams from each Contender Group automatically fall to the Amateur Division and their spots are taken by our top performing Amateur teams.

Hmm HD+Painuser are back. Have you guys considered hiring orb? I don't really mind HD+Painuser but I think the majority of people would prefer orb over these two. Orb had that incident awhile back but he's actually one of the strongest casters right now.

I disagree.
Darkforce has beaten Nerchio in a BO5 during TSL4. Also Socke can beat anyone when he has a good day. He has beaten DRG in a BO3 during a MLG this year. Both of these guys can beat Nerchio/Scarlett.

A shame, too -- she's one of the most exciting players to watch right now.

In muta vs muta, the first weapon upgrade does the same as the first armor upgrade, since the first weapon upgrade is essentially +3 ... I don't know why casters say the armor upgrade is better.

It's not +3, but the armor takes one damage off each bounce

How goddamn hard is it to update threads, just have one of the casters do it during an ad break if you can't coordinate everything else. It makes things look so amateuristic. Even just have a dedicated fan have the results in the first response to every post so we have the same feeling as a GSL LR in terms of punctuality of updates.
