FormatThe Evil Geniuses Master’s Cup Series League will feature 12 teams in a round robin format with each team matchup containing at least four best of three games between two teams. The top four teams at the end of the season will advance to the playoffs on a two day live broadcast weekend.

without Killer, GanZi, viOlet and ViNES both teams really seem a lot weaker compared to last season :S
Guess Koreans dont feel satisfied in any environment, it takes a Teamhouse to keep em happy

I like the part where there are terrans. Sad that goswer came out instead of ganzi could have been a TvT clean sweep.

The answer is simply, No. This is some of the best Complexity has to offer at this time. Even as a fan of Complexity, I can admit that the team isn't in the best shape in the world right now with Ganzi injured.
Heart is awesome and can go toe to toe with some of the best players in the scene. Ganzi is injured right now.
QXC, Minigun and TriMaster are all solid and can potentially take games off top tier players but they still aren't entirely reliable to net you a win. Goswser is decent but isn't likely to be favored in just about any EGMC matchup.
Ryze would have difficulty competing against anyone in the Master's Cup. Ryan doesn't even really play at a competitive level.
Complexity isn't in the same form they were in when they won the last Master's Cup, I hope they can find some luck and some solid talent to get them through.

It seems like complexity should have used more protosses and zergs against a team like empire. The Empire terrans are so strong that I think you have to use Sasquatch, Minigun, Goswer, and Heart when playing a team like Empire. It's not that these players are better than Trimaster and QXC, but zergs and protosses just feel a little better than terran in the current metagame.

Ah, I watched it tonight but I couldn't be bothered to comment at such ungodly hours. Empire way outclassing complexity as expected with this lineup, but the games were a lot of fun. Props to Azael and incontrol for the enjoyable commentary and to Happy for his unique style of play. ;-)
