If EG can snipe Taeja, I think they'll have an advantage. Or at least limit Taeja to one kill. HerO is clearly their other strong card, but he's not necesarily stronger than the EG lineup, just a strong player. After that, they have Ret, who may not take a single game and may take a couple.

While EG has JYP, who I think can take out any TL player except Taeja (and is a tossup vs HerO), PuMa who can most likely take out any TL player as well besides Taeja (and a tossup vs HerO, Thorzain who is slightly better than the equivalent Ret, and then IdrA, who is better than the remainder of the TL lineup I believe, and maybe equal to Ret depending on who's playing better.

Taeja > EG (and must be sniped)
JYP + PuMa >= HerO
Hero > Thorzain
Thorzain+ IdrA >= Ret
Ret > Rest of EG
Rest of EG = Rest of TL

This is fact, and not debatable. Feel free to respond if you agree with me, but if you don't, your argument will be completely shut down by me in a subsequent post, regardless of your statistical data on head-to-heads backing it up.

I would argue that Zenio is at least as good if not better than Ret. But it's true TaeJa it is barely imaginable that someone on EG can take town TaeJa. I would say Hero is better than Puma and JYP and EG has to hope on sniping him with a Zerg because he recently had trouble against them.

Let's not forget Sheth who 5-0ed EG last time in IPLTAC2, or Suppy who has been putting up quite respectable results. They should both be MENTIONED in your analysis. I'd love to see HuK in there too of course... but unfortunately his results lately haven't quite been up to par plus he rarely plays in team leagues so I understand not mentioning him.

I know, I justed wanted to point how strange his "facts" are. Of course Sheth is amazing and can take down anyone on EG. For taking down HerO I think Suppy is actually their best shot, his ZvP looked good recently.
I don't think you can say anything execpt that TaeJa is the best player of all the listed players. I also would love to see TLO, I want to see how he improved the last months in Korea.

A 5-2 win for EG, I would assume

And i thought this was supposed to be Stephano's debut on EG, looks like that ESFI article was mistaken.

Guys, Incontrol talks in most lr threads that EG takes part in. He is just sick of the eg bashing, along with just about everyone else not activley doing it. Its getting really old. GL incontrol, hope you start doing better.

Well... his GSL group. He didn't fare so well against the North American Champion in the RSL though.

Oh, I missed that. Point being he is not in such a slump anymore (Add his high placement in the MLG Championship)

If you have a look at the posts that preceeded (? - came before) Incontrol's, you'd see that there isn't any EG bashing at all - his post is the first in this thread that brings up the words "overrated" and "cursed". He does it by himself and purposely. Why? Generate interest? Massive attention seeker? Who knows, but everybody's talking about it here already.

Edit : words not good with me

what -_- said is also true. Don't forget we have a frat house and 0 training schedules so obviously we don't practice. Additionally there are rumors that AG threatens to sue it's players for everything and girls+dogs = no training.

Do you mean: The EG house was meant to be one part training house and another part content studio, so EG players don't improve at the level players in Korean training houses do. Additionally, as is absolutely natural, having girlfriends (and dogs for that matter) living with you is a little distracting and making time for them means you can't play for 14 hours day (actually, that's why Korean houses looked negatively on, and sometimes even banned having girlfriends!). On some days, even getting 8 is pretty hard.

Finally, while Alex doesn't threaten to sue his players, it is annoying when he gets on a player's case for taking off team apparel because it's hot and he forgot to bring an extra jersey.

That's like.. your own personal opinion man.

Seriously, the EG house doesn't look all that bad - but you all need to force Thorzain to sleep sometime. Maybe lock up the Monsters after midnight or something.

Whoever wins the series, I'm still going to be happy.

Actually, I'm fairly certain he rarely comments ahead of time like this if they didn't win. Looking at his post history confirms this.

I totally forgot about Zenio, but it doesn't matter because I already told you that my initial post was fact, so I'm kind of in a conundrum... I also forgot about Suppy so it balances out 100% perfectly (once again, no arguments!).
