Hoping it'll be close too! ![]() Im hoping this will be a true Liquid vs. EG match, and not a Sheth vs. EG 5-0 match, like the past season. I really dislike teams that are just carried by one person and it's not really fair that Liquid, being the Starcraft equivalent of the Yankees and all, just swoops in and offers Sheth a sallary that no one else can, and just wins every clan war because of it. ![]()

Calling The Lair a frat house was an awful exaggeration, but the environment could certainly be better if we're talking 'super serious pro gaming house, balls to the wall sc2'. Yeah yeah, none of us live there and know exactly what's going on, but I'd be surprised if it were proven optimal. At any rate, I still think EG is a contender for this.

While EG has JYP, who I think can take out any TL player except Taeja (and is a tossup vs HerO), PuMa who can most likely take out any TL player as well besides Taeja (and a tossup vs HerO, Thorzain who is slightly better than the equivalent Ret, and then IdrA, who is better than the remainder of the TL lineup I believe, and maybe equal to Ret depending on who's playing better. Taeja > EG (and must be sniped) JYP + PuMa >= HerO Hero > Thorzain Thorzain+ IdrA >= Ret Ret > Rest of EG Rest of EG = Rest of TL This is fact, and not debatable. Feel free to respond if you agree with me, but if you don't, your argument will be completely shut down by me in a subsequent post, regardless of your statistical data on head-to-heads backing it up.

I have yet to see any foreign house for any team that is "serious pro gaming house balls to the wall sc2". EG really isn't some sort of special exception in that regard.

HerO is clearly their other strong card, but he's not necesarily stronger than the EG lineup, just a strong player. After that, they have Ret, who may not take a single game and may take a couple. I would argue that Zenio is at least as good if not better than Ret. But it's true TaeJa it is barely imaginable that someone on EG can take town TaeJa. I would say Hero is better than Puma and JYP and EG has to hope on sniping him with a Zerg because he recently had trouble against them.

I do remember watching Sheth 5-0 EG ^^ Do you think he could do it again now? I'm not sure what condition Sheth is currently in. Ya never know though... and I think Sheth could all-kill anybody's favorite team, and nobody could really get mad at Sheth because he's like the nicest guy ever ![]()

Let's not forget Sheth who 5-0ed EG last time in IPLTAC2, or Suppy who has been putting up quite respectable results. They should both be MENTIONED in your analysis. I'd love to see HuK in there too of course... but unfortunately his results lately haven't quite been up to par plus he rarely plays in team leagues so I understand not mentioning him. He didn't fare so well against the North American Champion in the RSL though.
