Gone are the days of SC2 being volatile with scouting being aweful. Players are pretty good at scouting builds and holding off rushes that would kill players 1 and a half years ago. I would say WoL metagame is barely moving at this point, so BO1 is okay to me.

If the much larger Korean audience has a problem with bo1 in SC2 then I'm sure OGN will consider changing it. This is the format they have used for years with success. OGN isn't, however, going to change it based on a couple hundred foreign whiners who don't contribute at all to their financial success.
Fantasy and Flash are both superior players to San and Nestea bo1 format or not.

It's fun to see that the mother origin of all esports that ultimately permitted foreign pro gaming as we know it today is so much hated by the youngest of it's fanbase.
In my own opinion, if you can't get yourself to love the OSL you don't understand much of what SC pro gaming is about.

I don't know what's with the Bo1 hate. It turns the games into psychological warfare. It's pretty exciting since esf dudes have a lot of experience in dealing with certainn situations, while the kespa dudes have an advantage of their own, their play styles are unknown, like some players busting out oldschool builds.

I'm excited about the OSL itself... but the games today were all pretty fail. Fantasy drop micro is about only bright spot and that was only possible because Nestea's epic fail.

In my opinion, everyone needs to make its own experiences and draw different conclusions. You don't need to love the OSL. It is possible to love SC2 without having watched a single BW match.

bo1's are a much more reasonable format than they were when it was closer to SC2's release, but it's still bad.

it's very difficult to play at your best lvl on osl stage
this could be said for every stage but OSL has a history with this
it's all about nerves really
it's not online, it's not on a stream, you're playing on TV, about a million people watching

The only reason I would hate on a BO1 format is MAPS. The mapping scene in SC2 is way underdeveloped (mostly due to blizzard and tournaments refusal to use custom maps) and as a result we still have a lot of maps that really favor one race. Entombed Valley and Antiga Shipyard are both guilty of this.
