DRG is going to welcome Jangbi to sc2 hard. I would be jaw-dropped floored if jangbi wins though. More than impressed.
Parting is going to absolutely destory baby and we will have to call in the forensic teams to clean up that mess.

Nice, if they stream it over twitchtv, that means there are vods to catch up on, since I will miss the whole week!
I wonder whether the GSL will think of changing their model, now that there is another regular source of starcraft 2 from Korea, but with free vods.
Oh, and GSL players fighting!

oh so this is actually day 1 now? Thought it was on the 29th.
DRG should roll Jangbi, even with his recent disappointing play.
Parting PvT so g00d. I think Baby is all talk.
...I actually think Flash will pull the upset and take out San. San isn't bad, but I just have a feeling Flash will pull it out in the end.
and finally, I can't believe it's come to this but I actually think Fantasy will pull another upset over Nestea (wut!). His ZvT at IEM just broke the camel's back for me. Even as a massive fan I deem his ZvT as nothing short of just downright awful at this point in time.

Expectations:
JangBi < DRG
Nestea > Fantasy
Baby < Parting
San < Flash
I feel like I should always bet against San because I still can't tell where he actually is on the power level scale. And flash at least looks like one of the more noteworthy Kespa players for sc2 even if you ignore BW results.
I don't think either GSL zerg will lose assuming they play at least somewhere near their level.
Parting should smash Baby.
This is only Bo1 right? And standard losers + winners games?
EDIT: NVM Misunderstood the groups. Can someone give em a rundown of how this will all play out?
And opertown do you think you can put the groups next to the matches? So people remember what's going on. It's odd that one game from each group plays each day =S

30 days ago in the WCS qualifiers Jangbi beat Galaxy and Luvsic 2-1 in pvzs while preparing for the bw osl. He has had 30 days of practice since and looked damn impressive vs zerg then. It is not a stretch at all that he could beat DRG.

It's round robin:
Everyone plays everyone in a bo1 (so 3 games for every player). Ties are very common and then they have to play tie-breakers.

the group play is really simple.
one game of each group a play day.
Round of 16 is a total of 6 play days, 2 per week.
in case of a tie all tie breaker matches will be played on a seperate day.
on Flash, well like I said yesterday, one matchup and no proleague to practice for, I have to say its not impossible for flash to suddenly catch up.

Hopefully the english casters are good because I can already tell the games will be.

That's what hype threads are for. Nothing more annoying than seeing a normal livereport thread and realizing it was posted a week early. Without the hyping.

also entombed is actually zerg-favoured in zvt haha
