2012 has definitely been a protoss year. They dominated ro8 and ro4 for both Season 2 and Season 3(4/8 in Season 1 as well).They had 4 out of 6 Code S finalists. And now...this.

It was mainly due to the structure that a lot of GSLs terrans kept their spots. Protoss has been dominate in the top 8. If you look at win rates. P is the top races since 2012 Season 1. Look, I am not trying to argue 2012 Protoss is MORE dominate than 2nd half 2011 Terran. But they are at least approach it (especially with this WCS). But so many protoss are claiming last GSL was the 'first' time that the protosses have been doing well since the early 2011 MC era which is simply not true. People are still claiming that the P dominance is not even CLOSE to T dominance. But we now have 7/8 protoss in Ro8 which terran NEVER got. So to claim it isn't even CLOSE can't be justified.

To be fair, 13/13 against a pretty greedy pool-hatch build ( 24 drones without knowing what the opponent is up to ) can hardly turn out any other way.
