Ah nevermind. Fenix qualified from SA WCS. So there is atleast one terran in the WCS finals.

Just imagine IEM without Mvp though, it would have been 4 foreign Zergs in the semi-finals z.z
Every tournament is improved by having Mvp in it. EVERY TOURNAMENT!

Imagine this: 60% protoss, 40% zerg, no terrans. All games are 40 minute PvZs with no action and are decided by that single vortex. It would be glorious. The final somehow ends up being a PvP, the MC-Seed kind of PvP. Bnet fails in the final game, a regame is needed. God, it would be glorious. oh god, please, this :D

I hope people look at the map pool when looking at race balance for this WCS.

Without Mvp Nestea would have won!
He'd have made it through the group, and given how easily he 2-0'd viOlet he would have actually cleaned up in ZvZ
It is LG-IM's destiny, when one falls another shall rise to take their place.

It's sad because only korean terrans were doing well since foreigners kind of suck, but now it'll only be Z&P...

I think l'd laugh pretty hard too...
Seriously, this is Korea, where everyone look at when we talk about balance ("it's the highest level" etc.) and we have 90% protoss after Ro16...

Well I guess it could be worse, the hopes could rest on...Miya...
On a different note. Whenever we see a tournament that is really race heavy for any race, it would be nice to see a smidge less balance crying going around. It was less than a week ago that about 1/3 of every bloody poster in the IEM live report threads should have been banned for crying about Zergs.
Yeah, infinite PvPs will appeal to a very limited number of people. But this will happen. Looking at the starting line up for this tournament, chances were that it would be Protoss heavy to say the least - brackets and some key upsets did not help it any either. Nor did maps, I feel for Zergs having to close out their series on Shakuras for example.
Perhaps this will not be the tournament everyone enjoys the most. Well, that will happen.
On an amusing note: Jjakji and Taeja both tweeted 'Protoss...' at the same time.
Well guys! You were HerO's practice partners for his last two PvTs! Better start doing a worse job at preparing him for this stuff!

I believe Miya has terrible ZvZ so roro will probably roroll him easily.

I believe Miya's vZ record is bad anyway. This is Roro's win for sure,

The only interesting part is the first 10mins when it is pretty much a micro battle, after that its just who has more lasers wins. At least TvT was interesting to watch, and tbh i didnt really mind the days of GOMTvT.
Incognito are awesome, so funky. i read people write these types of comments all the time. we do not care that you won't watch because x match up is boring. people who appreciate all match ups will come watch while you can switch it off. you really don't need to tell us. Hmm in hindsight that wasnt the smartest comment, apologies. The matchup just doesnt really interest me that much, it all comes down to the colossus deathball, which i find the least interesting thing in sc2.

The protoss lineup was really strong, the terran lineup not so much, especially with MVP dropping out, no Taeja or MarineKing etc. Some slumping zerg players and the zerg metagame not as developed in South Korea right now. No one can claim that the protoss players in the tournament now didn't deserve it. They are some sick nerds.
The Terran line up was weak because they didn't even manage to qualify. I'm not sure if that's better or worse xD

I'm not sure what would be a bigger surprise looking back at the start of the tournament, Miya qualifying or Roro :O
