would be hilarious if blizzard's very own tournament was totally fucked up race balance-wise.

Terious doesn't even have a team so technically he's not even a b-teamer. Coca also lost to Seed. Lost to Soulkey straight after. Seed then takes out the next hotest player: Gumiho. Guess what: Gumiho loses to Effort. Leech Seed is OP I have a different theory, everyone hates seed so much they intentionally suck to discredit him of his wins.

Of this year, right? Because Protoss were stuck with an inconsistent Genius and MC and that's it in early seasons.

Jazz in GSL, I like it

Oh no. They havn't been dominating anything like Terran used to.

The only interesting part is the first 10mins when it is pretty much a micro battle, after that its just who has more lasers wins. At least TvT was interesting to watch, and tbh i didnt really mind the days of GOMTvT.
Incognito are awesome, so funky. i read people write these types of comments all the time. we do not care that you won't watch because x match up is boring. people who appreciate all match ups will come watch while you can switch it off. you really don't need to tell us.

people are complaining about the upcoming protoss mirrors, not about balance. pretty much everyone here agrees that polt played pretty badly and deserved to lose, you're the one luring people into the balance ''discussion''....

Doubly frustrating since Hero is now going to forfeit the tournament to go to MLG =/
WCS Korea officially becomes the Korean major tournament with the most racially imbalanced final 8. Unfortunately it's for the worst mirror too. After all the TvT tournaments and the imbalanced GSL's for ages, I feel little pity for Terran fans Actually, it is now been imbalance in Protoss' favor longer than it was for Terran... lol.. no.. Terran had dominance for FAR longer than Protoss has even been a bit above the rest. GSL's were 50% Terran for ages.
Are you sure? Remember GSLs are far longer now... Terran dominance Jun - Nov? Protoss dominance Jan - Aug?

This year you mean? Pretty sure Odoakar was referring to last year when the next best Protoss was...HongUn? Inca? Idk, someone forgettable who never looked like a champion. HuK probably #2 last year, but never made it past Ro8 GSL.
MC was basically the only Protoss in 2011. It's about time other players joined him.

Progressive rock, acid jazz, good stuff.

If only Mvp could have been in two places at once he might have been able to fight through the lower bracket
Just imagine IEM without Mvp though, it would have been 4 foreign Zergs in the semi-finals z.z

Yes, Season 1 as in GSL Season 1 (2012). GSL went by months (GSL Jan, etc) in 2011.

Imagine this: 60% protoss, 40% zerg, no terrans. All games are 40 minute PvZs with no action and are decided by that single vortex. The final somehow ends up being a PvP, the MC-Seed kind of PvP. Bnet fails in the final game, a regame is needed. God, it would be glorious.

no point discussing who dominates longer. The current issue is a perfectly or nearly perfectly balanced situation between 3 races is not achieved yet after the game is out for 2 years.
my fellow terrrans, falling one by one... rest in peace.. we will be back the next tournament

C'mon people, it's not a balance thing. The protoss lineup was really strong, the terran lineup not so much, especially with MVP dropping out, no Taeja or MarineKing etc. Some slumping zerg players and the zerg metagame not as developed in South Korea right now. No one can claim that the protoss players in the tournament now didn't deserve it. They are some sick nerds.
