Let's face it as much as I love Nestea his bad mechanics are really preventing him from competing at the top level especially now with KeSPA elephants stampeding GSL players who have way better mechanics than him. I say in weeks' time we will see Nestea co-coaching LG IM instead of competing

Reminds me of HuK when he was at his peak. I had a feeling Kas was going to win. He just plays soooo many games and that kind of practice pays off dividends in the lategame. You've just seen it all before and know exactly what to do, without hesitation. Unfortunately, Nestea looked like he wasn't sure what to do.

Gogo Kas, you deserved that one.

I didn't think he was really ahead even in game 1, maybe in a few brief occasions.

I think the thing with Tasteless is not so much the lack of knowledge, it's just that he seems to go on autopilot often and just says things he's used to saying.

Artosis is Nestea fanboy.. , its like give Tarson to cast MVP games.. , he casted MVP game in HSC , and even when MVP was losing like hell , Tarson scream that MVP is winning ;p

To be fair, Artosis has to play nice. He's going to marry Nestea after all.

I'm so happy for Kas, it's a huge victory for him And as a ZvT and TvT lover, I'm happy for the tournament! Only thing that makes me a bit sad is Feast ending with a 1-4 score, even though he really showed some strength today. I'm looking forward to seeing more of him in the future.

Why can't you just admit a 4 time GSL champion can be beat?

He did get beat, but it was jet lag that defeated him. Props for foreigners for taking advantage of jet lagged Koreans. Now let's see how well players like sortof do in Korea.

Good lord, get over it, NesTea's multitasking was subpar and he couldn't deal with Kas' lategame and drops as a result.

Sorry, thats reality.

It was only subpar because NesTea was so jet lagged. Kas can play well, but unfortunately, NesTea is just 100 times better than him. Again, NesTea was simply jet lagged.

Offline it's Jetlag.
Online it's Lag.
Gsl it's lack of preperation.

Im so tired of this.

Kas played better then Nestea, deal with it.

Funnily enough, the players don't make those excuses for themselves (Idra being the obvious exception), but fanboys to it for them. Really strange...

Zergs like DRG and Symbol steam roll Terrans with bad composition all the time. It's mechanics bro.

He was there for gamescon promotion with IM. And I don't think he worries about tarnishing his rep. He is a progamer, he plays games for a living.

He will play as long as he can stay in GSL, he has no problems with staying in the most difficult league so far and i don't see it change in a couple of weeks. Nestea never showed his best play abroad and proberly never will.
That does not make him retire though, IM has sweet sponsers and plenty of coin to spare for a player like Nestea.

Nestea has stated tons of times that he doesn't deal with jetlag well. He played well early on but then later his play started to get worse and worse. The only person I really defend when it comes to people saying this jetlag shit is Nestea since it's pretty obvious.

I don't think it has anything to do with jetlag to be honest. Nestea has been looking bad in every game that goes to Broodloords for a very long time. His best days were when Zergs could still win with Muta-Ling without going hive tech. When the game goes to that stage he seems lost, whether it's ZvP or ZvT. And it looks like his mechanics also can't keep up. His creep spread is much worse compared to the newer generation of Zergs, his injects fall behind and he can't rebuild as fast etc.
