Lets not use words like cancer, divorce, stillborn or slaughter either, because it can bring up bad memories for people whom those words have a special meaning. I know you're being stupid, but maybe you should watch the words you use. Things like cancer and stillborn can bring up very painful memories for people who've lost a loved one. Just try to be sensitive. Say what you mean and mean what you say. There is no insult in the English language that can't be stretched to offend someone. Stop being such a briefcase.

It is emotions, because you are immediately using the definition of forcefully having sex with someone, while rape can mean everything from abuse to violate and plunder etc. You can rape someones base in SC2 for instance. It is not an offensive and distasteful word, that is your opinion. A word is a word, and its context is what could be deemed offensive, not the words themselves, which only job is to describe something. You are making a case for that rape is a more offensive word than others, and that is based on your experiences and emotions with the word, and your associations with it. Well, he does have a point though. 'Rape'. Some words have connotations that come with them, sometimes even regardless of the context they are used in. It's not always completely in the mind of the listener. However, I do think 'rape' in this context though [gaming/competition] is ok. Usage and all. Custom. It's tolerable. The guy is obviously trolling..If someone wants to say 'rape' or 'butt molested', thats his/her choice..You asking will only make them say it more. Yes, but someday someone they love will be affected in this way and they'll be the ones that prefer others not to use this slang/terminology. Just grow up and use a better word that doesn't involve imagery of someone forcibly violating someone. Did you know rape can refer to molestation in a completely non-personal sense? For example, the French imperialists raped the Haitian natural resources. Unless you think the French literally started fucking the dirt, you'e going to need to adopt a wider view of what words mean.
Yes, and rape is also another word for canola (where the oil comes from) but come on. We all know the connection here. I'm not going around calling people "faggot" and excusing myself because it has different meanings (cigarette, pile of wood).

Anyone mind summarizing what happened the last 5 minutes of the game? Nestea went full Blizzcon Since Blizzcon he's done that kind of shit a bunch of other times too. I'm not sure if thats nestea getting worse or other players developing past the midgame. He never really gets outplayed in these cases. Just throws incomprehensibly a game he should win with his eyes closed. I'd argue throwing away armies in the late game is getting outplayed. In fact I can't recall if he's ever won a late game game (poor phrasing). Maybe you're right. I just respect Nestea too much to think that's really all he can do. He sometimes struggles so much to "finish the job". Just lets the opponent to regain economic and military power, while Nestea is just banking a ton of resources not doing anything for him, and eventually his "trading" / throwing armies inevitably dries his massive bank regardless. To be fair, that is exactly a problem that many (less capable) zergs face - failing to finish the opponent, letting him back in the game. It's just... it's Nestea... and we are talking here about cases when he has gigantic leads in every aspect of the game. I'm starting to believe in the "Zergbong". He won three gsls and was a master of zvz at one point for being able to almost always choose the right builds and make the right decisions in the early and mid game so respecting Nestea is absolutely deserving of that respect. He may be becoming Zergbong again but I believe with Hots release we will see some genius from him again
I think he just needs a confidence boost. If you lack confidence you dont really want to finish the game. He just needs to win a tournament or place highly in one, and he will be in shape again. I hope his age doesnt affect his mechanics as much

I wish other tournaments could convince players with nothing to do into casting like IEM has done.

I predict ForGG 2-0. JYP is weak versus terran and ForGG has been really good lately.
