Not saying taeja would've beaten him in other circumstances, but this is not a good representation of both their skills.

If i were taeja, i'd never show off my best against someone who's on the team i know i have to beat almost on my own. First probably had the same kind of issues. I don't see why they would hold back.

Not to mention that hiding TvP builds only protects him against 3/7 players IM can throw at him which includes Losira who he had a close series with at MLG and Nestea who prepares like a monster. I can't think of why Taeja would risk losing the tournament his team is hosting just to hide builds in this one case. No one would be talking about Liquid's loss in tac3 if they then got to watch Taeja monster mode through tsl4. Everyone would just blame the rest of TL for not pulling their own weight.

The format they used appeared to be Maps A,B,C,D,E,F players veto one map each (A,B) Then they play C-D-E-F-C

All this caused was for me to spoil the results for myself and thus me not watching them on youtube either, resulting in a net loss of a single viewer. Then again it appears that none of the matchups were even worth watching apart from the last one which I saw anyway. I have no idea why Taeja felt the need to continuously allin instead of trying to play a normal macro game. The instant VODs on Twitch are a perk for TSL+ purchasers. Otherwise you have to wait until we've cut and uploaded the individual games.

Never called him bad...I just think he's not that good at preparation individual league matches. In fact, I think he is a top 10 Terran in the world right now. Just not in GSL or TSL

I get what you're saying now but I still believe Taeja does fine in individual leagues, especially when he finished higher than ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() In fact, the only people that gave him serious trouble in the last GSL were the two finalists, MC and Seed :O

I also believe Ryung, Keen and Ganzi have made it into Ro8 before. Yes during specifically seasons 2 and 3 he made it farther than them.

Rainbow, Ensnare, LiveForever, Boxer, Rain and Jinro as well since they made it further in GSL. But seriously, starception just likes to make posts that will get reactions out of people.

(I'm kidding <3) Yes, starception has a point. I disagree with it but it doesn't mean either one of us is totally wrong or totally right. It's how we view the players and we can both hammer out empirical evidence until I eventually falter because TaeJa definitely has less results than other Terrans that aren't performing as well as he is currently. I'll continue believing Taeja is on a sick run and he has a great shot at a Ro4 or Finals seat in the next GSL, as well as any given foreign tournament. starception is more than welcome to disagree or at least think he is stronger in team leagues!
