It was crazy timing by First but the bunkers would have helped for just long enough I think and he would have had his vikings for the collosus too.
It would have helped him, and possibly let him hold. But I can give what I think all added up if it helps.

Siege wasn't going to finish in time.
Some off scouting/reacting by taeja
The buid order taeja did is one that the 2 base colo alllin is meant to punish/beat. He would have lost those 25 scv's at his natural regardless if he held. Which would have let First win after a macroing up for a bit
edit: if you noticed, first actually targeted the stacked scv's when they were pulled before switching back to the units, he was playing safe, so that if the push was held, he had double the economy after to fall back on

As soon as i saw the bunker salvaging all i could think was "there is no reason to salvage right now" - there are very limited circumstances (if any) where that extra 75 minerals is so vitally important that you need to sacrifice your defense, particularly at that stage of the game

I mean so far in the past few months we have Seed going 2-0 against him in gsl, then First losing to him 0-2 at mlg, then however you wanna score it from IPL and now First beating him 3-2 in TSL4. ( may have missed some other interactions will have to research)
We could use more amusing rivalries and aside from the odd all in they make TvP fun ^-^.

Oh, I see. Yeah I agree, those raven builds were really questionable. Even in the Metropolis game, I think First could have taken it with better control during that first engagement.

Sorry about the tech problems. We had a capture card fail before we started, then xsplit refused to pick up our inputs. Then our Internet connection died mid-way through the TaeJa / First series . Unfortunate set of circumstances that we couldn't really control. Hopefully things will run a lot smoother tomorrow.
