We are happy to announce a showmatch between desRow and Vera Lynn. With desRow being a pretty well-known player and Vera being quite the unknown player this ought to be an interesting showmatch. All of us have seen the lengths that some PvZ games go to and this might be another match to add to the epic PvZ list!

About desRow:
desRow's played Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos and became a competitive player in that scene. Despite achieving a decent skill level at the game, especially during the Frozen Throne era, he had no notable competitive achievements for that game. desRow shortly entered the StarCraft 2 scene and plays protoss. He moved to Korea to improve his gameplay in 2012 but soon returned due to personal circumstances. Since his return, he has participated in the Spring and Summer MLG events along with running his own showmatch series. He is an active streamer and streams almost daily.
About Vera:
Vera is an Irish Zerg player on both NA and EU. She has been Grandmaster on NA since since season 7, placing 48th at close of season. As of this season she is one of the few female players who is GM on EU being consistently in the top 100. Vera is quite an unknown player who is trying to turn pro and compete in more tournaments. Aside from high-level StarCraft II-play, she regularly gives free coaching on her stream to viewers and casts a number of tournaments.

rofl i dont understand how desrow even has sponsors when he deliberately stays in the game building nexuses when its clearly over, its even more disturbing when i look at the people in desrows chat thinking its hilarious.

Desrow tries to put on cannons at VeraLynns third but it get shut down after causing no damage at all and he was way behind.
Vera drownes up hard but doesn't scout or prepair for the DT:s that comes and take out the main and third and the game is over short after that.
Desrow 3-1 Vera
Standard PvZ opening with P on two bases and Z on 3. Desrow goes stargate but does not do much damage. Vera builds an unscouted spire and send 15 mutas towards Desrow who is going for robotic bay and Vera wins soon after.
Desrow 3-2 Vera

Vera goes for a fast three hatch muta but Desrow charges in with a 8 gate attack that Vera can't hold.
Desrow 4-2 Vera

So according to the casters, this wasn't her at her best. It didn't look that impressive compared to what people have described on the ladder, I wonder if it's nerves? Anyway, looking forward to her showmatch with Ziktomini, maybe she'll get over whatever it was

well gg... I have been a fan of Desrow for a long time and I've been following Vera ever since she started streaming. It was a fun match but I've seen Vera destroy kiddies on Gm ladder and this is certainly not a show of her current maximum output. Can't wait to see both players in there future show matches.

Vera is probably a better player then Desrow but it isn't that simple. Desrow has way more experience in a tournamnet setting and that tipped the scale.
When Vera starts to play more tourneys I think a lot of players will dread the Irish power!
