You just lack humor, 2GD's mom is OK with it, 2GD is OK with it and at the end of the day the Facebook page got the likes and he can show good this result to the sponsors. Seriously I swear you guys are too obsessed with professionalism and manners, SC2 is not going mainstream overnight. Yeah, I'm sure 2gd's mum loves some large american guy asking her if she remembers the joke his son made about her loving cock the previous day to 50k viewers, he shouldn't have brought the joke back up to her face, just unnecessary but it is what can happen when you have to alphas hosting.

Theres alot of issues going on here. They would be insta-fired if they worked in any real job That makes his jokes seem alot better, so i appreciate the context. I just wish they would realize we dont all know the context, him saying something in good fun sounds to me like a sexist asshole without context as has been mentioned soe and james are good friends and the sponsors know exactly what they get when they hire "2gd". the only bad publicity from this is our own self inflicted. we seem to be getting mad that we should be getting mad.... the fact is gaming is still an 18-34 demographic, and like with most sports and events, the content is tailored to what young people like. the fact is, asusrog have gotten 1500 likes, 15% more to their total, in the last 5 minutes because of james's "mum jokes". this is a positive for them and them supporting content that clearly people like is also good for them. if james's mum or soe has a problem with the jokes, im sure they will let him know, but i dont think they do and i think anyone making a bigger deal about this than it needs to be is missing the point. this isnt about sexism or anything, its a guy with a certain sense of humour making the same jokes about these 2 that he makes about everyone, you either like it or you dont, but he isnt shitting on random people he doesnt know, hes shitting on his friends. chill out doood.

Do I think the jokes are rather banal? Sure, but it's at about the right level for adolescents, so I don't mind it. This is what stops sc2 from becoming the next bw. I understand your reasons. But if the only reason to not be professional is because the demographic is young and this is not mainstream, well, then we'll never have mainstream. I understand sc2 has alot of young viewers. But i can guarantee out of all esports fans, the majority are 22-30, and most of us are over mom jokes edit: his mom jokes didn't get the likes...he asked the community, and they did it because they love the esport. If 2gd only said 'lets go all tweet/upvote/like'..He would have gotten the same thing.

But fans of the team/player are usually bias towards their team/players. And you have foreign/korean player fans. Terran/Zerg/Protoss fans. Anti-fans as well.

Why does everyone need to be acknowledged by the outside world. We are fine as it is. Enjoy it as it is, we don't have to change to fit in the bigger picture...

You just don't know, she's pretty chill as far as we saw at the last Dreamhack. You're probably more offended than her.
