I want sc2 to replace bw. Regardless if that fits the definition of mainstream. Idk why so many people dont like progress. But i'll drop the subject, cause mom jokes are apparently building esports.

Screw mainstream lol, mainstream is boring as hell. Every1 knows how 2GD is and apparently ASUS doesn't care because they hired him. So why do you care?

Crude jokes during a sponsored StarCraft event... it makes it seem like such a game for children. I couldn't imagine a chess event turning into a beavis and but head spectacle. Everything is best in moderation and immaturity is prob something that def qualifies as being best in small doses. There's a time and place for everything. It just feels out of place, weird and awkward to me. I have nothing against the casters. I just think it's weird to have high level players, yet for the casters to have to put on such a "show."

Oh just stop with the whole professional whine already. Making dirty jokes doesn't make you unprofessional by itself. There's plenty of comedians making a living with them. Stop calling everything you don't like unprofessional to try to give your opinion more weight. It's getting pretty tiring already.

Damn, I would really have liked DeMuslim casting the finals with Apollo. TLO is good, but it's really nice to have DeMuslims insight in the TvP

Hey!!
MC made it to he finals! And it hasn't begun yet. Finally, after a series of disappointments today in general, something good. Well....unless MC loses, in which case I will be absolutely devastated ._.
BUT GO MC!

You want it to replace BW, a game that was pretty much only active in South Korea (with big tournaments). South Korea has GSL and OnGameNet, both of those seem to be the kind of tournaments you like. It will replace BW but on top of that we also have a lot of tournaments in the US and Europe that aren't run the same way.
You already have the replacement for BW, you have what you want. What happens at ASUS ROG won't affect the Korean market.

HEY GUYS ITS OK TO MAKE JOKES ABOUT SOE, BUT NOT 2GD's MOM...TOO FAR idk, the humor of sc2 hosts/casters, especially 2dg and incontrol, just seem bad imo Both are OK. You just lack humor, 2GD's mom is OK with it, 2GD is OK with it and at the end of the day the Facebook page got the likes and he can show good this result to the sponsors. Seriously I swear you guys are too obsessed with professionalism and manners, SC2 is not going mainstream overnight. Yeah, I'm sure 2gd's mum loves some large american guy asking her if she remembers the joke his son made about her loving cock the previous day to 50k viewers, he shouldn't have brought the joke back up to her face, just unnecessary but it is what can happen when you have to alphas hosting. You just don't know, she's pretty chill as far as we saw at the last Dreamhack. You're probably more offended than her.
not offended, a little second-hand embarrassment though, she must be pretty chill to be cool with a random american talking about her sucking cock on stream

The people who whatch sc2 are the people who play sc2 and different kind of casting won't change that. It's just not interesing to watch for the outsider.

I agree. Too many swearing/immature language fly around in casting. They may be thinking they cater to young audience, but it is inappropriate. Also, primarily white caucasian culture (especially American) is more lenient toward immature language than Korea/Asian culture in general.
