Hero dropped a series against Sortof, and Puma a series against Nightend. The other 23 times, no foreigner could beat a Korean. Come on people, get it together. Yes, the gap between Koreans and foreigners seems to have increased during the last weeks.

Now that the OSL finals are over and the Kespa player are already making the full transition to SC2 . Expect the foreigners to slowly lose out to the Korean Maybe the really top Europeans can compete but i highly doubt it. The Code S level players in ASUS are only Taeja and MC. Plus, all of the koreans made it to the Ro16 with the exception of Puma losing only to another korean forGG. Koreans 3-0ing all foreigners in Ro16 wasn't pretty either. The future for the foreigners is looking grim.

Foreigners will never have as big as a skill pool as the koreans, but a few very talented individuals have the skills to compete imo. Like Stephano, Ret, Naniwa, Sase. Can't think of any phenomenal Terrans tbh.

If he does not appear in tournaments he must be performing bad in the team internal matches.

Otherwise the foreign scene will die out, and in SC2 the foreign scene is all the economic support. Foreign teams need to train young talents in team houses in order to keep up.

I can't speak for anyone else, but the only money I spend on 'e-sports' is for a GSL subscription, and I'm a foreigner.

I mean the sponsors are international companies, the teams with money are international or NA/Europe based (except Slayers/ST). If koreans dominate too hard foreign fans will loose interest (not all of them but many) this will make sponsors less interested.

That said, it would be pretty disastrous if the foreign scene died out.

MLG and IPL etc won't be able to continue (as SC2 tournaments) if the foreign fans lose interest. As for Korea, well we still have to see whether the BW fans embrace SC2 when the KESPA teams switch.

Here's another fun fact: In the TSL4 round of 32, there were 9 matchups that were a Korean playing a foreigner. Koreans won 8 of those matches, the other, Major won 3-2 over Hyun. So, that should tell you something about Major's skill level. He says he's looking to win the WCS North American Finals, and I don't doubt him. Major/Scarlett finals, heard it here first. As for Fenix, he did come 2nd in the WCS South American Finals, losing to Killer. Not a huuuge wealth of talent out of that part off the world, but being the second best player in your continent is still pretty nifty.
