This size check goes a lot better on the plane. I remember that huge one Puma got, how he got that thing home remains a mistery to me.

And won MLG Arena and Assembly + made GSL Ro8 back to back. Then 4-0 Squirtle, 4-1 MC, 3-0 Genius. And all these other overhyped players. Did you just call MC overhyped? He already proved his worth.
You're misinterpreting things.

Mid-master? That's laughable, but can't say I'm surprised as that is pretty expected from you Ofcourse, could you please take a look into his decisions regarding strategy? Last game he scouts a very early starport and he can assume its a stim-timing after a gas-fe and also scouts double-reactors. He then decides to go very greedy for double forge which means he'll have no DPS at all against the bio force. Taeja could have won the match right when TLO called out that heromarine scouting everything. No way he would have defended the bio force. As I said MC's mechanics were good as always even though on Metropolis he was playing kind of sloppy, yet the decisions through the series wasn't better than from a masters player. If you hate on me for pointing that out, I will just leave you as a MC fanboy. I like that boss as well, but this certainly was very argueable. If you think that was "mid-masters" strategy wise, I don't know what to tell you. He certainly made a lot of strategic mistakes, but that laughable exaggeration just discredits any point you may actually have. I'm not a MC "fanboy" at all by the way and you will find it difficult to find anything supporting that assertion. Naruto had a point. I mean, if you scout fast medivacs and know he has a fast stim from his opener and you see dual reactor which = alot of marines then you want AoE, but mc got double forge and immortals and a 3rd nexus which is just ridiculous. Naruto also thinks that European Protosses are strategic geniuses whereas Koreans are a bunch of one-dimensional idiots. Seriously, he talks about this practically every time there is an LR thread. Oh, come on... Anyway, our point about not going Colossi allowing the Medivac count to snowball out of control was clearly proven in this series, no? No it wasn't. MC is a seasoned veteran, he isn't going to get nervous or psyched out by literally anyone, which means he made all the decisions he made consciously. And his insight is considerably deeper than yours. Don't know what to answer, really. Didn't you see he always died to huge Medivacs clouds outhealing his damage output whenever he was running out of storms?

Seeing a Millenium player on a podium who is not Stephano is weird. :p

Taeja simply played much worse against European protosses, as in he made mistakes that can be easily identified.

Nice tournament and it closed out surprisingly well. Good job organizing the tourney.

Guess Battle Hellions and Warhounds will even out the micro requirements.
I am more for introducing micro intensive units for the other 2 races though. Making game generally difficult for us presents awesome plays from those pros.

The only TvP Taeja came near losing was against Mana, and that was less a matter of Mana's style being good so much as Taeja playing uncharacteristically bad. If you put the Taeja of these games against MC into that previous series, it would have been 3-0 no question.

did Taeja actually say something along those lines or was it Reis, as you say, making excuses?

No, it clearly wasn't proven, were you watching the games? Game 1 was a loss, game 2 proved little besides MC having some bad storms and misclicking charge apparently, Game 3 MC won pretty convincingly with the style, game 4 was lost because MC's attack didn't do enough damage and his third was so much later, game 5 was decided by a doom drop when MC went out of position with his stalkers.

Now maybe did you take into consideration that its a lot harder to play against Colossi? Maybe those mistakes were forced while its very handy to him to not play against a combo that doesn't allow mass marines to work or having 15+ medivacs? I will step away now, there's no use discussing if you are not willing to actually fight the points made.

Yeah I agree.... I understand a little korean....thats why you never should let your manager(or whatever reis is) to translate for you.....this happens quite alot in other sports aswell......especially MMA/Boxing
