Are you seriously comparing HSM research to pathogen glands and psi storm? You do realize if you have 5-10 gates (which is very common in PvAnything), you can just pop down your templar archives, research storm, make 5-10 templar, wait for Storm to finish and then you'll immediately get 5-10 storms. (Templar Archives build time + Storm research time) Same with Pathogen Gland Infestor. Just throw down Infestation Pit, research pathogen glands, and make 5-15 Infestors at once with Fungals. (infestation pit build time + pathogen gland research time) With Ravens, you have to throw down maybe 2 or 3 Starports, attach tech labs to them (or transfer them to tech labs). Research both HSM AND Corvid Reactor and then you'll probably only be able to make 3-4 Ravens at once. (Starport build time + tech lab build time + corvid reactor/HSM research time) Let's not even go to the effectiveness of HSM vs Storm and Fungal. | ||
