All my love to you Park Soo Ho.

On the other hand I feel happy for Leenock. This guy has been in a slump as well. But as he mentioned he had to do a lot of stuff for exams. Still think the he is able to be one of the best players.
Can anyone explain to me what Leenock did with his infestors? Was not able to watch the matches.

He burrowed two infestors near DRGs army and then fungalled like 9 infestors to death by using burrow-fungal-burrow to keep his 2 infestors alive.

it was more like 5-6 infestor

Pretty sure it was exactly 3. And he killed at least 8 for it. Awesome move from Leenock.

ZvZ is becoming one of the best matchups nowadays.

In fact, I could, and even actually believe, that ZvZ is the most exciting matchup at the moment.

Constant aggression throughout entire series.
Emphasis on micro while requiring huge macro
Ability of "super imba" units like BW(baneling early game, infestors mid late game)

The matchup is diversifying to great different things. Infestor ling, infestor roach, muta, ultra, broodlord, I'm just waiting for baneling bombs to get big.

And as for the one exception, there have been so many sick ZvZ's recently. You should watch some.

I really like ZvZ because it generally have a lot of aggression over the game, diverse strategies and unlike other zerg matchup is not infestor blord turtle

No idea what the fuck drg was thinking during this game, i dont know what happened but the two days he plays like shit are the two most important. Gg but i feel like drg lost that rather than leenock won it, similar to mcs games.

I'm going to start watching DRG even more now. I want to see how he cope with this and how he will start to rule again, maybe becoming even stronger. Failure is part of success.

He burrowed three of them and sent them in near DRG's Infestors and then unburrowed them one at a time using fungal to kill at least 6 or 7 of DRG's Infestors. That was the most baller move I have seen in a long time tbh.

yea and he split them brilliantly to, even though he didnt need to he had every situation accounted for in that move. He let DRG slip by a few times but my god when it got scrappy he was 2 steps ahead.

NO you are wrong.
DRG and Leenock both played fucking well.
Leenock played a bit better and caught DRG queens off guard and was able to kill 8 infestor for 3 infestor.
Play your best

Maybe he didnt play his best, maybe! But more importantly Leenock and MC played nearly perfect. Not much he could have done tbh.

This is my feeling, there's a lot of different timings and opportunities for aggression and harass in it.

The only times I don't really enjoy a ZvZ are when it's one of those passive roach/infestor games but even that is becoming rarer. It's not often you see the old early game b/o counters anymore either.

Well, I think DRG had a slight lead when he got Leenock to defend with mutas and his infestor popped. But then he tried to be aggressive with the Queen pull which failed and allowed Leenock to get a decent roach count. And I think DRG was hoping for an ultra infestor timing but that infestor snipe made it impossible and put DRG way behind. And Leenock didn't make any mistakes after that to let DRG back in.

I think this is because the maps have gotten bigger so you can defend aggressive builds with pretty standard builds.

And I too feel bad for DRG. It will take some time for him to digest. But making Ro4 and your team getting to Ro4 is still a good accomplishment.

Yeah he had to fungal the mutas even though it was so good for Leenock because as Wolf said "he doesnt care, the time for mutas is over" or something like that.

Edit: Moving out was probably the only real mistake DRG made that game. He played really well considering being behind after that until the end.
