There's chance that it goes well, but I don't know, GSL has seen terrible finals, and not in this match up.... I hope we will see the interesting part of PvP, and not the luck - BO loss - coinflip side...

Please people, realize that just because someone lost to a player, and than beat another player, doesn't mean that those two players can be compared. There are way to many differences in play style, match-up, venue, etc etc to compare. I know most of you are probably trolling but please can we keep from doing it. Seed vs MC is a super interesting match up. All odds point to MC as a favorite. He's the protoss president, he's already a two time GSL winner, he's a fucking boss and just comes to kill his opponents. Seed is a first time finalist, hell isn't he a first time guy getting past the ro16? He hasn't been praised as gods next gift to sc2. The only real thing he has going for him is he's on LG-IM, the best team hands down in the GSL. But I think Seed is the favorite going in. His mistakes against Byun weren't so much as chokes as they were just bad play, and I think it'll be harder for MC to put him in that position. It's rare for PvP to force those type of situations, and MC in particular likes the more direct style of PvP from what I've seen. Seed actually had really good micro and control in direct fights, especially in the early game. More importantly, Seed has shown he doesn't tilt. If Mc is the president of coming to kill people, Seed is the president of just not giving a fuck about his situation. I know I'm echoing the write up, but he just seems utterly confident in his ability to play. He showed he is really good at adapting to a situation. In game 3 he completely got destroyed by those drops, game 4 the drops did a bit of damage, but he managed to win anyways, and in game 5 he actually shut down Byun in every step of the game. I don't know, MC should beat Seed. He has almost every advantage. I just think Seed's going to become our second Protoss champion. If MC wins, there is actually a decent chance we may not see a second protoss champion in WoL, which would be a pretty cool claim for MC, being the only protoss champion.

He lost to a basic hellion drop and then to a 2 pronge hellion/marine push at a pretty standard timing and knowing hellions were out on the map. The entire series was basically Byun applying heavy pressure and if Seed defended well he would win. He actually didn't defend well in game 4 but Byun threw the game with the scvs pulls. So it would be hard to argue that Byun is a better player. I'm not necessarily arguing from this series alone, just a general impression from the last month or so. Besides, Seed said in his interview that he didn't choke, and that Byun's attacks/drops came at weird timings that he wasn't used to. This is why, for instance, he pulled his units to the front in game 2 shortly before the drop arrived.

By loosing every possible game he could but advancing. He was hardly dominant in any regard. Thats why i was puzzled by how many people were picking Drg to win. It was like they were just assuming because Drg made it through, that he was still playing at his level of a couple months ago.

People stating that Stephano is better then DRG. I feel isn't a great argument due to the way the tournaments are ran. One is 3 day event. Another is a week off to study your opponent before you play them. I feel if MC had a week prepare for stephano it would be a different story. I do think MC is a better player at GSL type events where as DRG and Stephano are better then MC at MLG & NASL events where it is a 3 day straight event.

Startale did it first. Open S1: Rainbow GSL March: July 2012 S2: Squirtle And they all loss. For IM, it's: Open S2: Nestea GSL January: Mvp 2012S S3: Seed And IM won both of theirs.

And its never facts. My opinion is that it does matter who is better between MC/Stephano/DRG. On a good day all 3 of them could crush the competition like no ones business. In my opinion -Stephano and Drg have about equal ZvP in terms of strengh, some days stephano looks unstoppable zvp and some days DRG looks unstoppable zvp -The old stephano I would have said is terrible against Terran, But the new Stephano ( since ipl 4) has been on an incredible run against terran, like literally the only series he has dropped since then was against marineking.. He is silently an absolute monster in ZvT right now. So again i would say Stephano and DRG are about the same good against Terran . Where the difference comes is ZvZ.. I think DRG is like the best ZvZ player in the world, so if stephano goes head to head against DRG , i dont think he will win. So in essence i would say DRG is a tiny bit better of a player than stephano , only because of his ZvZ. To be on topic now, congrats Mc/Seed. It was a long time coming for a new protoss champion. Sad zealot club should be officially closed now.
