You can look up to see where I am from. Danish by origin, Romanian by heart What is with these Romanian jokes I keep hearing on this site?

Did you even watched the games?

you shouldnt count drg out. anitga is a good map for zerg as well as whirlwind and on metropolis it's not that hard to hold 3 base pushes.
also stop the stephano best zvp shit... nasl had a terrible mappool for protoss. protoss was basically forced to do 2 base all ins on 3-4 out of 8 maps. stephano obviously has one of the best pvz in the world but you cant make a judgement based on the nasl match.

GO GO MC!!! FINISH HIM!!!!

reminds me of last season when people were saying MVP doesnt stand a chance to make it past RO8
lol
Losing to two foreingers just before you play the best zerg in the world is not really giving anyone an optimism. Its not like he throwed out the games there(10k and 30k for 1st places), he looked totally clueless vs foreigners in bo5 and bo7. So tell me what gave you this foresight? BECAUSE ITS GSL ok, i get it. Exactly because it is the GSL, the most prestigious SC2 tournament in the world. You have to be mad to think MC is not going to be super prepared for this match - no jet lag, no unfamiliar surroundings, bigger prize pool.

Well I bet Fantajii to win that match, just based on how they looked before hand. Fanta didn't show up to PL for a while to prepare for it. And iirc Flash played a terrible TvT against a super mediocre player days before the semis, so I definitely saw Fanta winning it.

Antiga, hmmm
I'm seeing a 3-0

I cant remember when MC lost a PvP in important match. I have seen Seed play PvP and it's really good, but so is MC. I think it can go either way, but I expect to see hallucinations! :D MC beat Seed convincingly in Up/Downs, but it was a Bo1 on Dual Sight and MC made a hidden Nexus. Say what you want but since the partnership I am fairly sure the IM players have a lot of replays again MC which can be studied just my oppinion but we will see.

It would seriously blow my mind if MC bet everything on the GSL and showed bad games on purpose vZ or something. 99% not true and it sounds absolutely crazy, but still, sort of fun to consider.
MC, CLOSE IT OUT!

You can't be best anything in SC2 without playing the GSL. I say bullshit. There is a lot of big tournaments in the world ATM and this is a beauty of SC2. Who says you need to win GSL to be relevant? Stephano is the best proof of this. It is actually really uncomfortable for foreigners to start in GSL, add to this cultural and language barriers and I would say there is nothing wrong for them to stay in Europe and play in local tournaments. For me GSL is just another good, big tournament next to MLG and Dreamhack - and results from these two are for me as important as for GSL.
I think he means you can't be considered the best until you show your stuff in the GSL, no other tournament really allows you to prepare for your match ups like the GSL. Other tournaments are crammed into just a few days and the winner can be decided by just who has a "bad day". Plus it is also widely accepted that the Koreans are the best at this game overall, and with the GSL having so many top level koreans it is considered the hardest tournament to win, therefore you can't really be called the best until you have GSL results.

Wow did DRG look slumped and 'given up' in the booth there.

That was last year and a bo1, the results of that game don't mean anything really.
we would have to see the match to find out.

Antiga better for P and T, Whirlwind surprisingly balanced and bad for BL, Metropolis is... ok

Now IdrA is out of the picture you can't read a discussion in any LR thread without it circlejerking to Stephano -_-.

MC probably just assumed he'd win a tournament this month. Then he lost the two foreign ones and suddenly he was like "wtf? Oh man guess I better win GSL then. Been a month since I won something now"
