lol it is very existant.
Sick crowd there!
not anymore dude.
Koreans used to CRUSH foreigners a year ago, nowadays you don't see it anymore as most of the games are so close it can go either way (ofc unless theres some gimmicky unscouted all-in).
Rest of the world has caught up with Koreans even though they still practice significantly less. Just goes to show you how low the skill ceiling is in sc2 compared to BW since anyone can beat anyone at the highest level.
Why do people keep saying this? Koreans are still dominating whether you wanna admit it or not. One tournament won't change that.
Remember the time when whenever say 6 Koreans would be invited to foreign tourneys they would take top 6 in convincing fashion?
Those days are long gone and instead of the gap increasing (which is what logically should happen when koreans practice so much more and are much more dedicated) it has decreased and is still decreasing way too fast.
There's no "domination" anymore, it's just who plays better and who's luckier on a given day.
Lol the gap is getting closer... but it's still very much there. Don't delude yourself... lol
GO ALICIA!
keep telling yourself that, just don't be surprised if Stephano or Ret win NASL (which would have NEVER happened a year ago)
Stephano won IPL3 9 months ago I believe, so it's not that long ago
keep in mind tropicool (and dj's in general) aren't the people making the songs you're hearing, they're mixing a variety of music from various different artists into a cohesive set. in addition to that they may be, fx., playing their songs of choice at a bpm differing from the original, or on differing EQ settings, etc. not to discredit tropicool (though don't really care that much for his style), dj'ing is a serious artform i would one day like to be a lot better at than i am.
you can find some of the actual musicians behind some of the songs from the soundcloud comments on each individual dj set.

Stephano and Ret are among the best of the best foreigners right now. The best foreigners have always been able to compete against the best of Koreans. The issue is, the LARGER majority of Koreans can stomp the LARGER majority of foreigners.

Look, you got the best foreigners vs average koreans (besides MC). You can't really draw conclusions from that.
