There are going to be players who can't make your proposed supplemental qualifier either. Sure maybe IPL should adopt TSL's qualifier system, everyone can learn from their mistakes: remember the outrage when MKP was left out of TSL 3 - *and* there was no Korean/Asian qualifier? This was announced months ago, IIRC when MLG announced their dates, people noticed that MLG looked to be almost intentionally setting their dates over other events. So do people really expect IPL to subserve themselves to other events? I don't really know the entire story here, but so far it sounds more like EG's manager knew they couldn't go so didn't tell their players, since only EG players are publicly complaining about the dates... | ||

Satellites are different from Regionals. The regional was already played and I believe Edit: Got the winner wrong, it was Sleep, not Demuslim. Thanks CosmicSpiral. | ||
