dat foreigner bias, can't believe it's that strong. naniwa isn't exactly a loveable personality. Maybe it's just an underdog thing. Naniwa is one of the few players who actually got a personality . . .

Well to be fair the games with the neutral depots were weeks ago (the Tree vs Byun game was last season). Jjakji vs Monster, while it was this season, was played nearly 3 weeks ago. I'm not sure, but GOM seem to have made a conscious decision to remove the neutral depots and I would assume they informed their players.

Terran is the most versatile race so they have tools they can use to attain victory even when the metagame is against them. When Protoss or Zerg isn't doing well, you see them all out by the Ro8, with only 1-2 players in the Ro16. When Terran isn't doing well (or, at least, when you see heavy Terran balance whining), you still see them in the semis/winning GSLs. Or maybe, you know, it's because NesTea simply played bad. His A-move strategy on the last game into a maxed out siege line perfectly positioned with even a bunker or two is equivalent to someone scouting a 4-gate while executing a 1-rax expand and not building any bunkers.
Nestea had no reason AT ALL to attack into that, he had been given a golden ticket to win in that game.
He was maxed out, terran was isolated and sieged up defending. He could have taken the bottom right part of the map and built his bank up.
Use up supply by harassing with mutalisks, maybe do baneling drops to hurt econ, just defend a bit and tech up. He had like 10000 different options that would be safe and almost guarentee a win but he choose to attack into a siege line and when it went bad he didn't back off to at least try to salvage the attack, he pushed ahead. It was the only that byun could have hoped for to allow him to get back into the game.
Nestea threw that game soooooooooo hard.

Nestea gets 3-0'd ... The issue that players like Mvp and MKP brought up was that at equal skill levels T can't win. Not saying I agree with all that, but Byun is currently a much better player than Nestea. download any recent replay pack. Nestea plays with 150 epm while Drg, Symbol, and even Byun play at 200+. When Nestea goes to foreign tournaments he doesnt even do well and is outclassed by other korean zergs. That assumes that who is the better player is an objective fact and not situational at all. The better player is who won, isn't it? there was no neutral supply depot... on any given day a palyer could be sick, could have gotten bad sleep, maybe have sore wrist that day e.t.c winning one set agaisnt someone once doesnt make you better then them if beating them doesn't mean you're better, what does?

I have to agree here.. I see way too many zergs just ramming 3 banelings to kill the last marine and such far too often. Its a bit disappointing to see such poor unit splitting & retention from code S GSL players, but at the same time, I'm confident in due time the level of skill (in this aspect) will get to where it should be.

Nani did watch the HerO vs DRG series so if he prepares well he might execute his way through.

It might work in Proleague but DRG is just too good against all-in play

Hopefully Demuslim watched this Series - so annoying his perma whining about Terran and "imba" stuff.
