Okay guys.

I thoroughly appreciate all the criticisms. Thank you for all your advice

I just read it for the first time, so I don't know if you already updated it, but I think these player introductions are great.

Symbol 3-2 /2-3 Seed.
Extremely close series between these two since their head to head record are virtually neck to neck.
But i just jump on the hypetrain and say Symbol since he all-killed IM before.

MC 3-0 Taeja.
How the heck you guys doubt the BossToss! Shame on you.XDDD
MC won't be playing straight up,he will be using his MC-esque timing to beat Taeja 3 times in a row like how Squirtle smashed Taeja using his Squirtle-esque timing.Sensing this happening since Taeja weakness is toss all-ins and MC is known for his super duper strong all-ins.
Play your best

Seeker: My 2 cents in regards to the opening post is that you have good, interesting things to say, but you should simply say them more formally. Not sure I'm just echoing what other people are saying, but yeah

Mehhhh, Formal is bland and boring! I really liked the way Seeker did it!

Symbol and one of my favourite players will advance. I want a TL player to win the whole thing and Taeja is amazing to watch in all three matchups, but MC is...MC. He's fucking MC y'all!

So it seems we have finally arrived here once again. The notorious/hellish placement in Code S known as Ro8.

It seems we have finally arrived once again to the hellish place known as Code S Ro8.

Because all 8 players right now have safely secured their placement for the 2012 GSL Season 4 Code S, the players no longer feel pressured by the threat of falling into Code A.

-When using numbers fewer than ten, try to spell it out, it would look more professional.
-Don't begin a sentence with "because" unless absolutely necessary.
-the words 'right now' is excessive
-the players no longer feel pressured by the threat of falling into Code A: excessive

Since all eight players have secured their place in the next season of Code S, the loss of pride from falling to code A no longer presents an issue.

But unfortunately they cannot relax just yet. In fact, they have to work even harder than before. Because right now, at this very moment, each player is realizing the same thing. They are the final eight. And they are the only ones who are qualified to grab that revered GSL trophy.

-But is excessive
-link the sentences together so they don't feel like jolts of words strung together.

Unfortunately, there is no time for rest as they must now work harder than before.

-use colon:

As of this very moment, these players are beginning to understand one thing: they ARE the final eight, the only ones left with a chance grab that revered GSL trophy.

With this in mind, each player will face off in a Bo5 with the same mentality. The mentality of one that is thinking "I MUST CRUSH MY OPPONENT!" And they must keep this mentality for 3 more rounds if they wish to be standing on that platform kissing that trophy.

feels so awkward...

With the gravity of their situation in mind, each player must face his destiny with the iron will which screams 'I WILL CRUSH MY OPPONENT!' They must possess fortitude and perseverance of mind the entire match if they wish to stand on the world stage kissing the championship trophy.

Standing there with all the spotlights on them, and the crowd going absolutely nuts cheering for him.

-This is a fragment

And then, there are the players. The envious players who were so close and yet could not do it in the end. Just who will this player be? Let us meet our first four contenders.

Tonight, two players will stand in the spotlight surrounded by wild cheers and fanfare, the other two will fall with dreams dashed and egos bruised. Who will survive the the quarter finals? Let us meet our first four contenders.

That's only the first paragraph.

I hope that helps seeker...

I hope I'm not beating on a dead horse here but I would ignore most of these criticisms. I write both technical papers and entertaining pieces and as such I know the difference between the two. That's not to say you couldn't use an editor (I need one frequently) but I wouldn't worry about using the phrase "right now" or similar critiques. (And don't worry about using 'because' to begin a sentence. Because people aren't always aware of how it can be used, I always chuckle when it's described as an untouchable header). Neohageleon a good poster and you should keep some of his criticisms in mind, but I would work on making your writing as stylistic and entertaining as possible.

That being said, I would like it if was cleaned up a little (IE use ellipses sparingly, write only one or two words in all caps, etc). If you write something like you would say it out loud, ambiguities can arise where inflection and tone would normally help.

Hope that helped.
Edit: It looks prehty!

Watching the shizzle out of this. So hyped.

GO MC!!

@McFeser: yeah agreed. While some parts could use just a bit of tidying, some of the ways he writes lend more excitement. It's not a technical and/or research paper so certain conventions can be discarded

Also,
Because all 8 players right now have safely secured their placement for the 2012 GSL Season 4 Code S, the players no longer feel pressured by the threat of falling into Code A.

This is an example of it being okay to begin a sentence with "because" anyway @_@

Predictions:

Seed 3-2 WLLWW
MC 3-1 WWLW

Let's go MC! Symbol vs Seed should be interesting, but so should MC vs Taeja. We're going to get some amazing games tonight, I feel. ^_^

You might want to clarify which ones besides "because header," else your opinion comes across as ambivalent and confusing.
