To be fair, the situation I am referencing to was pretty extreme and the vertebrae had to be removed, replaced, and fused with pins and a metal piece. I don't know how advanced Mvps case is.

![]() Explain please. Are these true: 1) you want to get drunk? 2) You want to win in the games you play? How does it work then if accomplishing 2 means you don't get 1. Ye ye, I'm not supposed to think in these things too much, but it's really too dumb to not notice...

I know watching Premier league footballers getting drunk surely wouldn't try to get streamed. Yes, but a huge draw of progamers to their fans is, they are one of us. They have fun, play sc2, and hang out just like anyone else. When you see a Premier league footballer, you don't think "I could be there doing such things also".

Sure we pay a shit ton of taxes but atleast an operation like that would, more or less, free.

That's totally reasonable and how everybody thinks at first, but sooner or later somebody will annoy you so much that you just play and find out it's really fun ![]()

Guy's in serious pain and just wants to earn money for his family so who cares if he's not the most fun player to watch who doesnt prefer long macro games. ( we know what he's capable of) I wish i could have attended HSC to meet him, but hope he enjoys the rest of his stay in germany and finds the time to recover. He doesn't want to earn money for his family. He wants to be the best. The money is just a bonus. But yeah people that hate on him are just idiots.

With a sponsor shirt on them. So the sponsors have to distance themselves from that.... it's kind of tricky, so I don't think things like that should be streamed. Or at least the players should take of the 'uniforms' so they're officially in their casual, free time.

There are plenty of other games where you get drunk while "winning" Flip-cup Kings Cup (not really a winner, just one loser) Ass Hole Beer Pong Quarters Hockey The version of beer pong with the cans where the purpose is to drink MORE (i forget the name it's been so long) etc... etc..

Ye ye, I'm not supposed to think in these things too much, but it's really too dumb to not notice... in most drinking games you drink stuff which doesnt really taste good and makes you pretty fucking wasted.. mostly you start of by hoping to lose rounds (to get drunk) but after the first few shots you try to win (so you dont have to drink anymore). its just a lot more fun than "just drinking"
