I feel like I'm posting in Reddit today. Then go post there. Did you even see the finals? As someone just noted, Mvp played more macro games against toss than all ins last season, so stop spouting bullshit Yeah because macro game never involve timings or mindgames right? But go on and keeping believing that this was some unpredictable upset. TvP was always Mvp's weakest matchup. This was an unpredictable upset, and TvP USED to be his worst matchup. It's probably one of his best now. His TvZ is pretty poor and his TvT is still probably his best when he is playing well. I would say his TvT > TvP > TvZ
To be fair, his TvZ was slowly declining even since his wrist injury started to worsen. It really hurts his micro and how well he can set his army up. I wouldn't call his TvT particularly poor either, he only lost to players on hot streaks in the GSL (Gumiho and Taeja).

Happy makes a lot of good observations.

Eh, that was a misunderstanding according to grubby, there's no showmatch. And TvP is not the worst nonmirror, lol. Im pretty sure thats TvZ right now...

Is this Happy casting with Dimaga? So hilarious lmfao. "WHY HE____"

Sase so terrible commentator. You guys so polite not to hate it loudly! lol next thing you know he doesnt advance from his group. Then 80 pages of MVP fanyboy tears will spam the LR Well to be fair, and this is coming from quite the MVP fan, the level of play he's showing right now is not fit for advancing to the next round, regardless of previous accomplishments. He's playing so insanely sloppy.. He didnt play sloppy, had one huge mistake in both those games which were no ghosts and thats why he lost both of those games.

So did Nerchio vs Socke match was actually casted anywhere? The score says 2-1 for Nerchio which actually dont make any difference because Nerchio is 6-2 overall and there is plenty of players with 6-1 record.

Nightend is always too passive and messes up his timings. He really should be either: on top of timing of hive-morph OR blindly prepare with earlier templar and mship.
|
NIGHTEND GOES FOR THE KILL!!!!

MVP isnt a weekly cup / qualifer type player, its MKP.
but MVP would rather have time to pick out exactly how he wants to play against a certain player, thats why he is a 4 time GSL champion.
|
Whut, I'm not paying much attention but Nightend is in a great position.

Yup, should expect inferior players to do this a lot.I guess he was just overly scared of another 2 base all in after the game before rather than Monchi going the other way and hoping to get away with greed. Did you play this flute when Mvp cheesed the hell out of Naniwa? I only play the piano. And I don't get your point, you know MVP is the best player in the history of SC2 and showed he was capable of playing all kinds of games vs Protoss that season. Monchi's not remotely close to Nani's level either.
My point is that your posts are usually not soaked in bitterness and bias like after this series. To my recollection you usually post quality posts based on reasoning and not pure emotion. Maybe I'm wrong but that's just what I'm thinking.

Happy + Dimaga casting is very entertaining :D "This is fucking Sparta!"

Did you play this flute when Mvp cheesed the hell out of Naniwa? Chill, he's not whining about it (well not exactly), Monchi is undeniably the inferior player and he'd know that his only chance would be to play tricksy. Not really his only chance, the other chance would be mvp making mistakes ( yes that does happen to the UNDENIABLE BEST SC2 PLAYER OF ALL TIME ) Well I mean...a group of 11 schoolchildren could play Barcelona at football and hope they screw up but if they want to win it might be a better idea to run into the box with the ball and dive like a motherfucker.
Portugal won vs 100 chinese children
Its a lot harder to screw up at football were all you have to do is run and shoot while keeping an eye on the enemy teams movement... no tell me how much more you have to do/mange in a way smaller timeframe that and the inherent physical superiority of full grown men versus children who are half as tall
your comparison doesnt hold up whatsoever

NightEnd going to beat Golden in game 1
|
Guys, ignore results and just look at the games. Call me when any foreign terran can play a game like Ryung vs DRG game 1, or when a foreign zerg (including stephano) can play a game like Symbol vs MKP.

"This is madness! Im not trolling!" Dima best :D

MKP, Symbol, DRG, Taeja, HerO, Squirtle, MC, PartinG, CoCa, Happy, Creator...I could add more but I won't Naniwa, Stephano, Thorzain, Kas... I could add more but I won't The only person who's actually done well in Korea of that bunch is Naniwa. And you only listed 4 while I listed 11.
That's cause Korea's only important event takes 2-3 months to finish so you have to basically live there. How many Dreamhacks have been won by Koreans this year?

As someone just noted, Mvp played more macro games against toss than all ins last season, so stop spouting bullshit Two of Mvp's wins in the finals were "cheese" wins. Including a sub 10 minute game on Daybreak. And a double proxy rax to win the finals. Half of his finals wins were cheeses, which I honestly respect a lot because he's one of the smartest players out there and he knew it would work. Don't try and say he did great against P in macro games though. Read the recaps. Actually do research before telling people to stop "spouting bullshit". Haha did you seriously try to say a marine/hellion drop expand build is cheese. lol. It's not an example of a "macro game" but it certainly wasn't cheese xD
I got it wrong I guess I won't trust the recaps again, because reading it made it sound like a 1-1-1 and I honestly didn't remember how that game went. It's difficult to go dig up a VOD when you're trying to watch a tournament and post in the LR thread at the same time. Forgive me.
