Nah. Mvp's mechanics were way better. TaeJa has sick mechanics, but Mvp before, MKP(2012 awesome) and Bomber always have the finesse in macro, TaeJa just seems to have the viking/ghost balancing ratio in his head, and positions like a god. His micro is insanely good in battles, but he does stim and do some things that leave something to be desired out of battles.

He may have been able to switch to HT a bit quicker, but his timing was going to be okay. He got caught once for like 2 seconds with his army in a bad spot and Taeja just CRUSHED him for it. If those cannons had finished and if he'd had another 5-10 seconds to get his HT in position, there's no way Taeja could've pushed the protoss 4th nor established a 4th of his own. As for Taeja, his unit control was as flawless as you will see once the game became "don't lose your 3rd or army at all costs". He landed the orbital and mined when he could, and when YounHwa committed, he lifted it and pulled the SCVs while punishing the colossi with vikings from the high ground. If the protoss kept pushing, there was a decent chance he'd lost a lot of colossi for free, so he was forced to pull back. Teaja didn't over-stim, saving it until absolutely necessary, and he kept up the pressure on the protoss constantly once he'd maxed. When he saw an opening, he pounced, and the colossi and HT were out of position enough for Taeja to absolutely crush the protoss army and 4th base, leading to the clear victory. If those cannons had finished and HT made it into position behind them, YongHwa's victory by resource starvation would've almost been assured. Taeja created a small window for himself and hit it perfectly. It was a phenomenal game.

MKP was even more dominating earlier this year, same for DRG(who won a GSL unlike the others) and he doesn't even compare to 10% of what MVP did last year.
