Lzgamer participated multiple times already. i saw that today but he is refering to the TOP so he might not want to know about lzgamer :D Nony isn't TOP either and you listed him. They will most likely not qualify anyway, but it's still nice to see them play in here. Relatively few Europeans playing today is almost completely due to Dreamhack. Nony SHOULD be in the top and I think pretty much everyone everywhere would agree with that. And Stephano should also be participating but I guess he is just chilling and waiting for the next qualifier that would fit his schedule the best. As to why Idra, Incontrol, Machine, Kiwikaki and Demuslim etc have not participated, I have no idea. They definitely should. Even though monetarily it might not be the biggest tournament out there, it IS actually the biggest tournament as regards to the community and I guess the sponsors should and will also notice that, sooner or later. Basically, if you have not qualified for TSL4, you don't really matter.
No, because this game is not Brood War. They play completely differently.

Yes, and you should not actually make that statement for a couple of reasons. 1) The qualifier was open for everyone and everyone smart and good enough who thought that would be easy money and did/will actually participate in the qualifiers (including all the pros). 2) If a player makes it to TSL4 through the qualifiers then he is certainly good enough try to compete with the other players who made it through the qualifiers or were invited.
So overall, after all the Ro512 qualifiers are done you can be pretty sure that the players who are left and will make it to the tournament will actually be extremely good, even if you might not recognize their names.

I've known the guy since his early WC3 days.
I honest to whatever hope you either don't know what literally means or that you're not serious...

I mean, Idra streamed twice while the tourny was going on. Probably he is pissed because of his loss in TSL 2 for nony... Yes, he's definitely harbouring some dislike over a tournament that happened years ago, even though he participated in the subsequent tournament... Simply put it's not really worth the effort for some of the top players (eg. Idra, Stephano) - the rigorous number of qualifiers and strict procedures just to get in make it kind of unappealing. It's great for others though who are willing to put the time into playing 8 qualifiers or whatever to try and hit the main draw.
You make a fair point, but that just gives me more reasons to root for the no name players participating in this tournament and more respect for their effort.

Yeah, the game is not BW and we all agree with that. But what I meant was that Nony SHOULD advance. We would all want him to advance and he has the game knowledge to back that up. But unfortunately not the results. So at the moment me, and I guess a lot of other people as well, are waiting for that BW skill to translate into SC2 and Nony actually smashing everyone.

Thanks for the update. Where are you getting results from so quickly? Nothing on Liquipedia yet.

Yes and no. All of the well known players in TSL3 were eliminated in the first round except MC, Naniwa, and Boxer (well, and Nada I suppose but he took out TLO in the first round).
Many players made their mark WITH TSL3 though: Thorzain, Kas (he was known in Europe but most of us North Americans hadn't heard of him), Cruncher...
I guess that's not that many actually. Okay nevermind, scratch that thought. At the very least the Korean Qualifier is living up to it's potential so far

spanish insider talks i guess ;-)
But make sure not to spoiler any semifinals or the TL staff may be upset ^^

I'd put 15 bucks on a Korean Terran (Probably MKP) making it.

Hotbid please make them start the official TL stream on schedule this time instead of 0,5h late this time. Some of us have to wake up early tomorrow.
