What? It's $6,000, which for a tournament with only Brits is pretty good.
$15k is the total prize pool.

It's a shame Romania's not part of the WCS, but there's plenty of pro players out there worth supporting! Edit: Oh and I <3 Tastosis!

DeMusliM has dropped off a bit post-patch in TvZ, but is still one of the best TvZers in the Foreign scene anyways, but it's put him on more equal footing instead of being a favorite like he used to be in most of his TvForeigner/CodeB Z

Just a shame I'm going to miss the match as I have to go do other things D:

They've not announced the prize money for the world championship but as it was 12k for the US nationals, I would have thought it'd be much much more.

He only lost 3-2 to Ret recently, in a really close series, and said that Ret admitted he couldn't beat him in a macro game and was having to all in quite alot. As long as he plays safe I think he'll do it, but wouldn't be surprised to see Zikto/Jonnyrecco take games off of him.

The overall event seems really underwhelming, the audience is non-existant, the only player of any repute is DeMuslim and if it weren't for Tastosis, I doubt there'd be more than a couple of hundred people watching. Compared to the events they usually cast, this is very, very minor.
