EG favoured, Dignitas needs a lot of luck to take this.
Yikes, got all of EG in about their best matchups (maybe PvP better for HuK) I think EG is gonna take this.
3-1 EG, probably with merz winning, although Incontrol could definitely take that.

Dignitas not looking that scary this season. EG should have this if they dont mess around too much (especially HuK lol)

merz 2-1 InControl

OMG SeleCT vs HuK brings back such memories. Back in the day, before HuK signed with Millenium, before SeleCT joined Dignitas, before Masters and GM where the highest league was Diamond, and before all the titles and fame, these two guys were #1 and #2 on the NA ladder for a ridiculously long period of time, creating a lot of fun matches; Day[9] analyzed 2 or 3 of them in his old Dailies. I still remember Scrap Station during MLG DC when HuK mothership-rushed for the fans :')
Hopefully they play some good games /nostalgia.

Why didn't this thread come up when I searched "eg mcsl"? I found it just too late and dream to be evil denied my predictions @9:00 on the dot. T_T
I don't understand why people are saying EG is favored... Incontrol against Merz? I'll take Merz on that. Sjow is capable of taking down Thorzain, SeleCT is really good and I think hes in top shape right now. Killer is the only one I would say probably won't win, but he has been playing really really well lately. EG might take it but it won't be a blowout, imo
3-1 dignitas with 1 of killer or sjow losing

I'm pretty sure HuK was with TL and Select with Dignitas

4-0 to EG. Thorzain eat polt so no problem. Incontrol said he's been getting better. Select sucks right now. And killer… hahahahaha Demuslim beat NesTea.

You can always trust Incontrol to warp DTs in times of trouble.
Inc keeps getting into an awesome position and throwing units away. I guess the mass DTs on his stream earlier weren't a troll?
REALLY needs to work on his engagements, his macro play is looking good but...
Did he really just trade an army for a planetary? :x

Incontrol needs to work on his control. He macro'd really freaking well but lost almost every engagement.

The mass Dark Templar was a very interesting choice...

merz please attack
edit: not like that

InControl plays Best when he is not in control of the game
So how come mass raven/HSM never caught on in TvP? It seems like a natural progression when you consider the entire lategame army is CALLED a death ball. Its almost always clumped, imagine HSM raining hell down on the toss army. Ravens with ghosts (to stop feedbacks) seems like an insanely effective choice
MERZ ATTACK THE DAMN ARMY WHAT ARE YOU DOING STOP RUNNING JESUS CHRIST
how can you be scurred of probes and stalkers?
This is like...the weirdest game I've seen in a long long time.
Merz won game he could've won 20 min ago :D
Why mass DTs? Incontrol's production was insane that game, producing at one point 5 collosus and 14 DTs simultaneously.
That game was nuts, both guys went full-foreigner multiple times though

Terrans loathe innovation. Ghosts do not simply negate HTs. Sniping is hard, so is landing good EMPs. 1 feedback = no HSM from that raven for a long time, if it doesn't die.
It's a good idea since Terran sits on a lot of gas late game but even if ravens start to get used its hardly gonna revolutionise the matchup

It could be interesting to mix a few in once you get to that crazy split map PFs everywhere time.

Well that was quite the incorrect over-generalization. Pros are innovating each day, trying to find new, better ways to win the game.
But otherwise, I agree with you about Ravens. Too expensive and fragile to use. You invest a lot of time, resources and production (that same starport could be double producing vikings against collosus) to get tech like HSM, yet a single feedback can completely negate that ability.

I play all 3 races tried just about everything. Ravens suck vs Feedback, especially hsm. FB is very easy to land and an instant cast. It also outranges HSM, not exactly sure by how much, but I'm, pretty sure it's not even close. You can try to EMP/snipe hts, but rarely get them all, then try to bundle that with HSm, is pretty tough, like u have to land your emp in front of templars or you lose to fb, I think snipe is a bit easier. Perhaps you do everything perfectly and don't get fb'd HSM is still unbelievably slow, easy for toss to dodge/split. I did use HSM effectively in TVT to break siege lines mech v mech and the pdd great for terrans that try to break your tanks with rauders. Not sure why no-one uses them there, but I've seen nukes used for same purpose of forcing siege lines to move.
