The time has come for our next Losers Round 1 match of the IGN Pro League Team Arena Challenge 3!
When: Wednesday, May 30 11:00pm GMT (GMT+00:00) (we will also have a European re-broadcast as usual at Thursday, May 31 5:30pm GMT (GMT+00:00))
Format
This double-elimination tournament features 24 teams from around the world and is an All-Kill team format. This match is being played for Losers Round 1. The first team to defeat everyone on the opposing team's roster (5 wins, or a best of 9), will move on in the Losers Bracket, while the loser will be eliminated entirely. Keep in mind that this has a $20,000 prize pool, and only six teams will make it to the money!

After losing the big part of their line-up, no way Eclypsia stands any semblance of a chance against a solid team like Dignitas.

Once again I lament the loss of artist and scarlett from eclypsia, the potential for some seriously sick matches like scarlett vs select/sjow or KilleR vs artist are gone oh well this should go pretty easily in dignitas' favour, granted welmu did better than expected vs acer but imo dignitas are better than acer or at least they're better vP.
On the other hand though welmu is Finnish so all logic is automatically thrown out of the window so I predict Zenex 7-3 Woongjin stars.

Welmu has a good chance against anyone on Dignitas in a BO1, the only issue is that he'd need to win five BO1s.

Eeel and Freman aren't part of eclypsia anymore, they were fired for BM
Eeel was a frequent BM player, and freman had an argument with elvis i think

Not really, as long as Eclypsia are lucky with their matchups (If their T's manages to dodge BlinG, or if Bischu, Merz and DreAm get lined against a Z), victory isn't really impossible. And besides that Dignitas players are all slumping + their all doing awful in team leagues recently.
Hopefully Dignitas wins this, they really need to step up their game.

TB has talked about working with IPL for a long time, it was just dependant on him getting his visas sorted. I suspect this is a similar situation to Jarosar, he's in town so he swung by the office to say hi.

That's why starcraft is more dramatic when you don't know all the information. The obs never saw those banelings coming. Remember ThorzaIN's surprise medivacs in the TSL as well? Yeah, less information, more drama.

Well, it was nice seeing a European T trying to play the very mobile MMM+tank style. Killer was very good at reading the moveouts, but it was a very close game. Daishi needed a few more production-buildings at times, I think extra units at the right time could have won him the game. In any case, nice play.
