He's been on mouz for a really long time, I can't wait to see him participating in EG MCSL
Lets go guys, 2nd place is still possible although, they would need to crush mouz really badly (lets say 4 or 5 maps difference)
ByuL got his weakest matchup ZvZ, that already should make mouz rescuing that 2nd place.
Predictions (and thats not even what I hope for, because that would be obviously different)
Rain 2-1 Heromarine (nice to see mouz putting up their youngest member on the big stage, this motivated kid will give an awful slumping Rain a run for his money)
ByuL 1-2 biGs (ByuL got his worst matchup, he already lost against some GoSu Zerg, biGs was looking quite solid the games I have seen from him, he will destroy fnatics hopes getting that spot behind SlayerS)
Oz 2-1 MaNa (Oz was considered one of the worlds best PvP, but I do think he will have to do a lot of work to do to regain that status)
aLive 1-2 MorroW (yes, thats kind of shocking....while I do love aLive and hes my favorite Terran, I dislike the fact he left out and forfeited crucial NASL games. It seems hes not right "there" atm, maybe overpracticed, not in the right mood, not in the right condition. Whatever is the reason for his recent slump, and unwillingness to play, his TvZ matchup wont get better by this, and MorroW is one of the best Foreign ZvT, and therefore he will make the upset today)
Ace Match
Oz 2-0 biGs (If fnatic is smart they WILL seed Oz here. For the simple fact that his PvZ is still ridicolous good. And given that mouz has two Zergs out of their 3 best players to choose from, they will most likely send either biGs or MorroW.
____
fnatic wins 3-2 and ends the regular season on 3rd place entering the Playoffs.

I could as well just be attending Fionns magic school, in an attempt to learn how to proberly jinx my favorite team. Re-read my fnatic vs EG prediction "wink"
I like that Mouz gives their talent Heromarine a chance to prove himself. They are already safe in the playoffs so no harm can be done.
If Mouz would field Hasu instead of Marine the series would be probably completely open. In this constellation Fnatic is the favorite to take it, though. Nonetheless, Bigs has a really good ZvZ and Morrows best MU is ZvT. I haven´t seen much of Mana lately, so I have a hard time judging his PvP.
Predictions are still relatively tricky in this case. If everything works out for Fnatic, it could be very well a complete sweep. On the other side Mouz could also take it 3-1 (Marine winning over Rain would be a major upset), but the most likely result is IMO 3-1 for Fnatic with either Bigs or Morrow winning their set.

You put mouz as your favorite team and don't even know all players on their gigantic 5 man roster?
I think it's more because they don't have another player to replace him, rather than because they want to see what he's got lol. I think he's GM on EU, still mouz won't retain their EGMC crown without a top notch terran.
Heromarine is pretty good in practice and online tournaments, now we just have to see how well he can translate his skill to this match. I really think that the fact that he never played an official match of that importance may be too much for him, but still, I hope he can show good play

Exactly my thoughts.
fnatic is the clear favorite, but mouz could take it to the ace match. Rooting for mouz to win though.
I think it has big potential to be 4-0 for fnatic, but hopefully not. Also good idea to put Heromarine to play so he can get used to the pressure. He will probably lose, but I hope it will be good games.
Anyways go mouz, and I want to see mouzSupernova/TheSTC/ForGG/Lucifron (either will do) in the playoffs

Fnatic got this I think.
You do not need to be a dick about it. They want people to go to their page instead of liquipedia, that is why they do that. But it is true that liquipedia is better than their page and it is annoying and I think actually detrimental for tournaments not to put links to liquipedia in the OP.
I love DeMusliM pointing out how advantaged zerg are on this map with the list of things he does. I don't mind it too much for TvZ, but it's always those tiny little things that make it annoying for TvZ.

I've seen MMA do it.
I've also seen DeMusliM beat viOleT with it once, and DRG with it another time. Just requires alot more effort to do. Marine tank is simply easier to play.

Somewhere around April 20th i think, around the last Code S Ro16
I seem to recall him saying it in an interview with Wolf or Khaldor after he beat HerO in the RaidCall Invitational 2 (he then lost to a protoss, Seed, in the next round). That was back in March. However, maybe I'm mistaken but the Fnatic vods on youtube don't have any of the interviews so I can't double check.
i hope he will qualify for the european blizzard WC qualifiers so he can get some international experience i don't think he can do it though with all good german players except roof having qualified for the german national qualifiers
Yeah, I don't think Heromarine is quite there yet and the German WCS is really stacked with good players. But this EGMC match was a good time for mouz to give him some exposure, because they are qualified for the playoffs anyway.
