Format
This double-elimination tournament features 24 teams from around the world and is an All-Kill team format. This match is being played for Winners Round 1. The first team to defeat everyone on the opposing team's roster (5 wins, or a best of 9), will move on in the Winners Bracket, while the loser will drop down into the Losers Bracket. Keep in mind that this has a $20,000 prize pool, and only six teams will make it to the money!

I'd say empire 5-3 or 5-2, It's Gosu is a good team. I really like their players and they have Doa. I'd love to see a good run by Ostojiy or HwangSin. I think it will be hard for Empire to lose this but I thought the same thing about coL.

I think Gosu will take a game or two off of Empire, they sure don't have a shortage of talent by any means. It's just Empire has such a strong terran line up and Violet to round things off. Gosu can take it if they get some momentum going, but other than that I'm going with 5-2 Empire.

And Vines, rounding off the line up now, they don't even have the protoss hole that they used to have.
I never knew a 30+ minute game involving constant nukes could actually be this humanely boring, this isn't even painfully and hilariously boring like tod vs happy it's just mind numbing.

I don't get why more people play this way, it isn't really exciting, but it certainly works well if you have Happy-level micro.
It's kind of like Terrans still haven't processed the EMP nerf. Before that nerf, you'd frequently see Terran absolutely crushing Protoss maxed armies after basically blanket EMPing them. That's still possible, clearly, you just need more than 6 Ghosts. Happy probably overdoes it a bit, but he has the right idea still.
