Yea jaedong really didn't look too shabby actually. His decision making was off but honestly can anyone say that's not to be expected this early on?

That's how I felt too :/
Burrow moving the roaches out in the open, attacking straight up a blocked narrow ramp, burrowing through a ton of forcefields and losing half of his retreating force without doing damage. It seems like his main issue is lack of familiarity with FFs.

This is to be expected. Mechanically, the BW pros are amazing, but as you would expect, their game sense is miles behind.

Sun ouplayed JD badly, outclassed him

JD didn't unpower the warpgates, key in that situation, and what top sc2 pros do.
Then the roach massive suicide. Top sc2 players see the blurry observer and will never go that blindly into a ramp.
Also pretty late burrow movement research.

Yes, he also didn't seem to know what composition to use, where to tech to, he just looked like his game knowledge is lacking, which is to be expected. It looks like Sun's been practicing SC2 quite a bit

thats just one of those situations you need to play through hundreds of times before you can defend it perfectly without fail. with this season's format the way it is with both games and how little time they have had to practice sc2 i guess this kind of thing should be expected. after he lost his nat and 3rd he made bad decisions for sure.. but he probably panicked when he got that far behind. his counter attack did some damage - he would have been better taking a 2nd and 3rd while preventing protoss from taking a 3rd of his own.. trying to fight back. instead he attacked with pure roach up a walled ramp into stalker/immortal/sentry and got destroyed.

You can't judge whether he overdroned or not by only looking at the number of drones made. He was about 1 inject cycle behind in roach/ling.

68 drones is way too much, especially versus this very efficient version of the immortal all-in. Also because I suspect jaedong doesn't have perfect sc2 macro yet.
