Hello everyone! Last year we covered a wonderful tournament named StarsWar Killer 6. It was the official emergence of the Chinese scene to the Non-Chinese scene, seeing players like  NesTea,  MKP,  Genius, FruitDealer, IdrA, and others all fall to the Chinese players. The finals ended up being 3 of 4 Chinese and ended with SK.MC winning the whole event!
Now it is time for StarsWar 7!!!! With a new streamlined format, this promises to be another great tournament! With a prize pool of over $5800 on the line, and a live finals in Shanghai, China, this is sure to be another don't miss event!

Oh my god I can't wait for this! StarsWar 6 had so many good players and it was one of the most underrated tournament I know. Hope they can get sick line up again like they had last time.

No Chinese players in this part. This is just the Korean qualifiers. Stars War 7 finals will have the top Chinese players.

There will be qualifiers for each region. We will likely cast them all and all of each qualifier. There is a 2 Chinese players, 1 NA+EU, and 1 Korean player. Those 4 players are flown to China for the live LAN event!

Pretty much. Last year was 40,000 CNY for 1st, 10,000 for 2nd, and 5,000 for 3rd.

lol, MKP not building macro orbitals in one spot, he's building them at every base on the map.
Still don't really know how Dreamer failed so hard that game, MKP's macro was very nice though.

2 port banshee after expo wrecked revival, then Happy swapped to mech so it took a bit of time to actually kill Revival but it was very very straightforward.
Yoda always seems to do well vs Parting, he played probably the best game I ever saw from him when they faced off in the KSL a while back

That game was physically painful to watch. Every decision Ryung made once they exchanged bases was terrible (other than building units...), and the only time when he needed to micro he didn't pay any attention at all...

What a blunder from Shine. He's got both those 2 medivacs fungalled, but doesn't refungal and lets them float off, spots them again past his fourth, and then finally allows them to land behind his third and kill a huge amount of units.
He was in such a good position before that and then overextended attacking and didn't pay attention defending o-o

Dang, big mistake with Shine. He got a fair amount of scv's with those fungals, but he could have got so many more.

There must be something I don't know because I always scan when I play greedy and these top tier terrans apparently never do, like Maru died to some 1 base play by Creator(14 cc vs 3 gate into 5 gate(?)) without ever knowing if he had expanded or not, he even moved out of his bunkers and donated all of his marines to Creator's parked army, open season 1 worthy type of play over and over, really extremely baffling.

I think (not sure) that there were matches played already, and that's only the top 8. Also, it is a Chinese tournament after all.

Western may have been 32 people (like the Chinese) just the previous rounds are not shown. Also tbh I think the Korean qualifier is too big for one spot.

Love the multitask harass by MMA, just beautiful. But he just didn't expand well. He had Creator pinned most of the game and also had him on low econ. But MMA didn't take another 6th base until the very end. You can't be dropping 100/100 nukes and losing 150/100 ghosts and splinter forces all over the place if you don't have the econ to back it up.

For a guy being called out on his TvP every 5 minutes, MMA's been playing TvP pretty damn well.

MMA takes out GSL finalist Squirtle 2-1!!!!!
Quick notes on games:
G1(Shakuras)- MMA does a 2-tank push, which gets cleaned up by DT's while DT's force him out of his main. MMA GG's.
+ Show Spoiler +Basically MMA vs MC from MLG. You can see in the MC game that MMA learned a bit, but still lost.
G2(Ohana)- MMA does the same 2-tank push, but Squirtle doesn't get a good engagement and loses most of his early army. The advantage snowballs and Squirtle is forced to GG.
G3(Tal'Darim)- MMA does a 1-Rax FE into a 2 lab 1 reactor 3 rax, which holds off Squirtle's blink aggression. His e-bay followup shuts down Squirtle's desperation DT's. MMA pushes to collect a GG.

I think this is it. I know that's how the Chinese one was. Like for the Chinese one you only see the Rd of 8 but there was a whole qualifier tournament, we are just casting the Top 8 and covering it.
